Talk:Douglas Murray

Chronicles magazine

edit

An edit summary would be too short to properly outline why citing Chronicles magazine is unfortunate. The wikipedia article cites two Southern Poverty Law Center sources. In a piece on Garrett Hardin, a deceased white nationalist, Chronicles magazine is described as "a far-right magazine controversial even among conservatives for its racism and anti-Semitism". A 2017 article on Jessica Vaughan and the anti-immigrant Center for Immigration Studies think tank says Chronicles is "a publication with strong neo-Confederate ties that caters to the more intellectual wing of the white nationalist movement". The spat between Murray and Chronicles appears to have gained negligible coverage in other outlets and, although applying Wikipedia Reliable source and notability policies are not necessarily accepted at Wikiquote, I cannot see why including the former extracts from Chronicles should be considered appropriate.
