Talk:Depictions of Muhammad

Why a separate article? Our convention rather prefer to keep this kind of quotes as "Quotes abount Muhammad" on Muhammad? --Aphaia 09:02, 28 August 2007 (UTC)Reply

Non-Islamic views of Muhammad is separate. This one can, too.--Inesculent 09:06, 28 August 2007 (UTC)Reply
I think both better to integrate into their parent article. It is generally bad to scatter a theme into articles without a good reason. And I would point out both articles (this and the one you showed) are not even linked from Muhammad. Even unintentionally, keeping away "Non-Islamic views of Muhammad" from his own article sounds a contradicted approach from WQ:NPOV. I think both articles are better to merge into the parent, Muhammad. --Aphaia 09:12, 28 August 2007 (UTC)Reply
Non-Islamic views of Muhammad has been linked from Muhammad. I don't want to make the Muhammad article extremely lengthy by merging more stuff into it.--Inesculent 09:17, 28 August 2007 (UTC)Reply
I am afraid your way doesn't mix NPOV. Not personally, I said the similar thing about Religion much before. As for your concern about size, Muhammad has 21,931 bytes, so it is not "extremely lengthy" even after two proposed merging. --Aphaia 02:20, 3 September 2007 (UTC)Reply

Merge edit

This entry appears to be a negative pov fork. I see no reason that a separate article from Muhammad is needed. Since an unbalanced entry with extremely negative quotes on this topic is likely to cause distress to many people, I hope we can reslove this issue quickly with as little fuss as possible.
