To "Jr." or not to "Jr.", that is the question

edit

I know that Charlton Ogburn was listed as "Jr." in the section of the Petronius article which dealt with this misattributed quote (before I edited it recently), and I originally created this article with "Jr." in the title, however, Harper's doesn't list him as a "Jr." and neither does Amazon in its listings for his books (including the book about Merrill's maurauders which developed out of the Harper's article which included this quote). If you've got a citation for the "Jr." please share it, otherwise let's keep it off until we have some indication that he really is one, and that he used it in his writing. (Vonnegut, for instance, used the "Jr." while his father was alive and dropped it aftewards.) Ed Fitzgerald 21:45, 12 April 2007 (UTC)Reply

What a dope -- I didn't read the external link -- which was actually a page I'd seen earlier when researching this quote. OK, I agree, let's leave the article name without the Jr., but have the "Jr." in the lede. Sorry for the hassle. Ed Fitzgerald 21:48, 12 April 2007 (UTC)Reply
