Talk:Banjo Paterson

Somebody removed the category Australians. I have replaced it as I believe it is relevant due to Banjo Paterson's formative influence on Australian culture.--Bodhirakshita 05:12, 11 March 2006 (UTC)Reply

Nobody knows him as 'Andrew Paterson'; to the point that he is unrecognisable by that name. It's 'Banjo' Paterson; whether or not that is what was written on his birth certificate. Having the article titled 'Andrew Paterson' is needlessly obfuscating things- not unlike having the Madoona page titled 'Madonna Louise Ciccone'. On wikipedia, he is listed as Banjo (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Banjo_Paterson).-- (User:not a wikipedian) 28 February 2013

  • Concerning Henry Lawson and their feud in The Bulletin over the virtues of life in the bush: I think Lawson put his case better than I did, but I had the better case, so that honours (or dishonours) were fairly equal.
