Talk:Arnold Bennett

Note: at least one, and probably several quotes by Arnold Bennett are widely misattributed to a "Thomas A. Bennett". Who this Thomas A. Bennett might be is unclear; the only person going by that name that I've found any hint of data on is the Dr. Thomas A. Bennett D.D. O.C.C.(1803–1897) mentioned in the article on All Hallows College of Dublin.

  • The real tragedy is the tragedy of the man who never in his life braces himself for his one supreme effort-he never stretches to his full capacity, never stands up to his full stature.
