	Al-Hashemi believes a “feminist novel” does not really exist; neither her works must not be classified based on this term. She adds: “As for the term "feminist novel", I do not believe in this title at all, because it is biased towards one gender upon the other. In the novel, the light is shed on the humanitarian situations in general. Passion is not exclusive to the female over the male, nor do the smallest details do that. So where did this term come from?
	ترى الهاشمي أنه لا وجود لما يسمى «رواية نسوية»، ولا تحب لأعمالها أن تصنف في هذا الإطار. تقول عن ذلك: • “«أما ما يسمى بالرواية النسوية، فإني لا أؤمن نهائياً بهذه التسمية، لما فيها من تحيز لجنس دون الآخر، وفي الرواية نحن نعمل على تسليط الضوء على الحالة الإنسانية مُجملاً، فالعاطفة لا تُشير إلى الأنثى دون الذكر، ولا التفاصيل الدقيقة تفعل ذلك، إذن من أين جاءت هذه التسمية؟».
