Stop-Loss

episode of Dollhouse (S2 E9)

Stop-Loss is a 2008 film about a veteran soldier who returns from his completed tour of duty in Iraq, only to find his life turned upside down when he is arbitrarily ordered to return to field duty by the Army, due to the U.S. military's stop-loss policy. The policy involves the involuntary extension of the active duty of a service member when their contract has expired, retaining and maintaining the same number forces due to the lack of enrolment and the lack of a draft.

Directed by Kimberly Peirce and written by Kimberly Peirce and Mark Richard.
