Sophia Smith

American association football player

Sophia Olivia Smith (born August 10, 2000) is an American professional soccer player who plays as a forward for Portland Thorns FC in the National Women's Soccer League (NWSL) and the United States national team. She played collegiate soccer for Stanford University, helping the Cardinal win the national championship in 2019. Smith was the #1 overall pick in the 2020 NWSL College Draft.
