Song lyrics

edit
All tracks are written by Greg Camp, except where noted.
  • Don't delay, act now — supplies are running out!
Allow, if you're still alive, six to eight years to arrive.
And if you follow, there may be a tomorrow
    But if the offer's shunned,
You might as well be walking on the sun.
  • Somebody once told me, the world is gonna roll me
I ain't the sharpest tool in the shed.
She was looking kinda dumb, with her finger and her thumb
In the shape of an "L" on her forehead.
Well, the years start coming and they don't stop coming.
  • Hey now, you're an all star
Get your game on, go play
Hey now, you're a rock star
Get the show on, get paid
And all that glitters is gold
Only shooting stars break the mold.
  • And the world's a stage
    (And the world's a faze)
    And the end is near
So push rewind, just in time
    Thank anybody
    You're gonna do it again.

    The way that you walk
It's just the way that you talk
    Like it ain't no thing.
And every single day is just a fling
    Then the morning comes.

  • Come on, come on and tell me why you're staring.
Come on, come on it must be what I'm wearing.
Come on, come on and tell me,
Why's it taking so long for you to recognize and stop?
  • I'm just your average ordinary everyday superhero
Trying to save the world, but never really sure.
I'm just your average ordinary everyday superhero,
Nothing more than that, that's all I really am.
    • "Everyday Superhero", written by Greg Camp and Paul Barry
  • Have you looked at the stop watch lately?
When was the last time you clocked-in?
There is a race to be run and a song to be sung
There is a fine line wearing thin.

So don't look back, the past has past.
    The future is coming fast.
You better make room, we're coming through
    Loud and clear.

    • "So Insane", written by Greg Camp and Paul De Lisle
  • Hey that's the story of my life
I had a good plan but it didn't go right
    Oh no I'm overdrawn
I check my account and the money's all gone
Why me? I don't know what to think
I finally get aboard and the whole boat sinks
Seems to be the story of my life.
