Serena Jameka Williams, (born September 26, 1981) is an American female tennis player who won 23 major Grand Slam women's singles titles, the most in the Open Era, and the second-most of all time. She is the last player, male or female, to have held all four Grand Slams at the same time. She is the younger sister of another former world No. 1 professional female tennis player, Venus Williams.
