Rowan Douglas Williams, Baron Williams of Oystermouth DD PC FBA (born 14 June 1950) was formerly the 104th Archbishop of Canterbury, metropolitan#Anglican of the province of Canterbury, Primate of All England, senior archbishop of the Church of England and the symbolic head of the worldwide Anglican Communion. He retired and stepped down as Archbishop after the election of Justin Welby in February 2013.
