Religion in Spain

The Catholic branch of Christianity is the most widely professed religion in Spain, with high levels of secularization as of 2024. Freedom of religion is guaranteed by the Spanish Constitution.

Spain,” the Grand Chamber of the European Court of Human Rights (ECHR) awarded to the Jehovah’s Witnesses another resounding legal victory, this time about the often-discussed issue of blood transfusions.
