Touch Me I'm Going To Scream Pt. 1 [6.01] edit

Old man:three simple cards, three beautiful ladies, real simple, son, all you gotta do is pick one
Lucas:All right.
Old man:Just follow the heart.
Brooke:Hey, handsome. These are for you, for our one year anniversary!
Lucas:um.. Brooke, I'm your husband. I'm supposed to give you flowers.
Brooke:I know. But I wanted to make sure I'd like them.
Lucas:(laughs)
Brooke:Well?
Lucas:Happy anniversary, wife
Brooke: Thank you husband, I love them.
Lucas:You ever miss Tree Hill?
Brooke:Of course. I miss our friends
Lucas: Yeah, Jamie's getting big. We never see him.
Brooke:I know. But you have the book tour and I have the company and I think he understands.
Lucas: What about all that travel? I mean,I am proud of you and all, but it just sucks that we're apart so much
Brooke:I know. Makes coming home kind sexy though.
Lucas:Very true
Lucas:Hey,I do love you, Brooke Davis
Brooke:And I love you, Lucas Davis ... Scott
Brooke:And I'm gonna love you more when I see exactly what it is you got me for our anniversary
Lucas:You're gonna love that... whatever it is. Happy anniversary!
[Kiss]
Brooke:Thank you!

Lucas: Happy Anniversary!
Peyton: Go back out!
Lucas: Why? Is the mail man here again?
Peyton: No. He just put on his pants and jumped out the window, but he did leave you an anniversary gift and I haven’t wrapped it yet. Hi babe.
Lucas: Hey wifey! These are for you.
Peyton: Oh!! They’re beautiful! Thank you! How was your day?
Lucas: It was good. It is good. You know can’t believe it’s been a year.
Peyton: Time flies when you get what you wish for.
Lucas: Is it? Is it what you wished for, Peyton?
Peyton: If I say 'it’s more than that', are you going to tease me for being a dork?
Lucas: Mm-hmm
Peyton: Cause it is.
Lucas: So, I made dinner reservations for tonight, if you want?
Peyton: Actually, I was thinking maybe we could just stay in, have a quiet dinner, kiss a while.(her brow rises and falls) And there is a chance that I could be rocking some slightly dirty girl lingerie underneath these jeans.
Lucas: [looks her down, head to toe] I think I need to sit down.

Gus: I want to tell you something, son. It’s the most important thing there is. Love. Finding the right person to spend your life with.
Lucas: I know I made the right choice.
Gus: That’s where it gets you. Thinking you had a choice. Love finds you, Son, you don’t find love. It’s got a little bit to do with destiny, fate, what’s written in the stars. A lot to do with the simple fact most women are smarter than we are. And wily. Your sorry butt never had a chance. But if you want to believe you had a choice in the matter, I’d say you made a good one.
Lucas: Why is that?
Gus: Because she showed up and she sure is pretty.

Peyton:: You’re such a mess. You can’t just call a girl from the airport.
Lucas:: Peyton, I know this sounds crazy, but…
Peyton:: You're a mess, Lucas Scott, but you're my mess and I love you.

Victoria: You don’t like me do you?
Millecent: No.
Victoria: Because you feel like I’ve mistreated you.
Millicent: No, because you’re an evil bitch.

Peyton: Responsible-I’ve-not-been-attacked-by-Psycho-Derek text message sent.
Lucas: Responsible-I-know-I’ve-been-dark-lately-but-everything’s-ok message sent.
Peyton: Oh, it's a message from you! It says "Peyton, I love you, let’s go get married, Lucas" Can a text message change your life?
Lucas: God, I hope so.

Haley: What is with you and naked nannies in the pool? [After Nathan catches a topless Mom Deb/Nanny Deb in the pool.]
Nathan: So how are things at the studio? Peyton pulling out of her funk yet?
Haley: Actually, Peyton was out all night, with Lucas.
Nathan: Is that right? What do you suppose they're doing?

Lucas:: Peyton Sawyer, I love you...
Peyton:: Yes.
Lucas:: You didn't let me ask you...
Peyton:: Yes, Baby Yes! God, I love you. Fahad

One Million Billionth of a Millisecond on a Sunday Morning [6.02] edit

Lucas: When I was a kid I used to love to jump on my bed. I’d pretend I could fly. I’d pretend I could dunk. I was happy. My mom would pass the room and shout, "Lucas Scott, if you break that box spring, you’ll be sleeping on the floor for the rest of your life."
Peyton: Well, here’s the good news if you have to sleep on the floor, I will sleep there with you.
Lucas: For the rest of your life?
Peyton: Definitely.

Haley: (Haley is holding the laundry and also passes into Jamie's bedroom and saw Jamie bouncing on the bed) Jamie, stop jumping on the bed or you'll be sleeping on the floor for the rest of your life.

[Peyton jumps on the bed and falls on Lucas as a maid walks in]
Maid at Hotel: Oh excuse me!
Peyton: It's okay we're getting married! [maid leaves] Um okay, so you know how you said our wedding should be a dream come true?
Lucas: Oh boy!
Peyton: Now, I know I never wanted my wedding to be princess for a day but,I would like it if your mom was there and [cell phone ringing] It's Brooke, can I tell her?
Lucas: Sure, you can tell her we're coming home for the ceremony.
[Peyton squeals as she answers her cell phone]
Peyton: Hey best friend!
Brooke: Hey, you didn't come home last night?
Peyton: Oh yeah, that's cuz I'm in LA with Lucas, and we want you to be the first to know, we're getting married!

Dan: :[to Carrie]Your plan sucks.

Brooke: Congratulations!
Peyton: It’s kinda sudden, right?
Brooke: Are you kidding? The rest of the world’s been waiting on you two idiots since high school.

Jamie: When you get married, do I have to be the ring bearer again?
Lucas: Not if you don’t want to.
Jamie: Good because last time it didn’t work out so well.

Nathan: I scored 35 points that night and each basket was like my own personal version of a Haley James pick-up line.
Haley: It worked.
Nathan: I played that game for you, Haley and you know what? I’d give it up for you too. Because as much as I love playing the game and the person that I am when I play it, I love being a husband and a father more.

Deb: Jamie I was not kissing Uncle Skills. I mean, first of all, he’s your parents age and one of Uncle Lucas’s best friends. It just wouldn’t be right.
Jamie: I think it’d be cool
Deb: Yeah?
Jamie: Yeah... Grampa Skills!

Get Cape, Wear Cape, Fly [6.03] edit

Sam: [Opening Voice over] Quentin Fields was a basketball player. He was also a son. A brother. Somebody's teammate. And somebody's friend. I didn't know Quentin Fields and I guess now I never will. Did you ever wonder what it would be like if you weren't you anymore? If you were suddenly gone, how would your world react? Whatever you imagined is wrong. There's nothing romantic about death. Grief is like the Ocean. It's deep and Dark and bigger than all of us. And pain is like a thief in the night. Quiet. Persistant. Unfair.

Lucas: Quentin, uh... was a great kid. He was the leader of this team and I know that he was your friend. I wish... I could take this pain away, but I can't and I'm sorry.
Skills: It's okay to feel angry. It's okay to feel the pain. It's even okay to hate the person that did this, but when that anger and that pain and that hate becomes too much for you, you come see me, Nate or Luke. Understand? We are your family, and we gonna get through this togeather.
Nathan: You guys know that Q was working out with me, helping me with my game. And that's how I am gonna remember him......strong, happy, playing the game he loved. I want you all to find your own best memories of Q and hold onto them. 'cause that's where he still lives, and he always will.

Brooke: 1 out of every 500 people gets assulted or raped. There were over 30,000 aggravated assults in our state alone last year. 7,000 robberies, 3,000 murders, 600 rapes. It's official, life sucks and then you die.

Denise: I wanted to thank you for standing up for my boy the way you did in that last game. It’s a shame that we have to meet like this.
Lucas: Yes, ma’am, it is.
Denise: Coach Taylor, Quentin always had so many nice things to say about you. And you too, Nathan. I really appreciate you boys coming here. But I mostly wanted to say thank you to this one. My son has always loved basketball but the day I can tell you, the day I came home and found him reading a book, it about gave me a heart attack. He said, "Mommy, Mrs. James-Scott, she don’t play. She almost as bad as you are." I realize that you are all trying to help him live up to the greatness God gave him and you should be proud of that.
Haley: Your strength is inspiring.
Denise: My strength is from Jesus Christ. I am going to miss my baby boy for the rest of this life but I know we are going to see him again and our faith will see us through.

Haley:: I don't know what to say to them. I'm 22 years old and I'm supposed to make sense of this? I can't.
Nathan:: You reached Quentin. You'll reach them too.

Haley: [in class] You know what? Um...you guys asked me what the point was to all of this, school, literature...life. And, uh I said there was no point. And that's not true. What I should have said was, "I don't know". Because the truth is, not long ago, I sat where you are and wondered exactly the same things. When something that's tragic and evil and unexplainable happens, like losing someone forever...I still wonder, just like you do. Alright, everybody, get out a piece of paper and pen.
Samantha:Why?
Haley: Because this is a literature class. When archaeologists uncover lost civilizations and they unearth their worlds that have long been since been destroyed, you know what they find most often? They find stories, ancient languages, words, inscriptions from people who have been gone for thousand of years, because chances are, like you, they wanted to know, "Whats the point?" And they wanted us to know that they were here, you know? Like they told their stories, and they tried to make sense of their lives and their worlds and their tragedies. So that's what we are gonna do. So I want you to write something, anything at all, about Quentin Fields. If you knew him, write a favorite memory. If you didn't know him, write what you think the point is of all this for yourself and your life and your time here. This is a literature class and that's what writers do. We put pen to paper in times of devastating tragedy. And we try and make sense of it. Maybe we will find some clarity in some of those words. Maybe we will find peace.
[Haley takes a marker and writes on Quentin's desk: "He who does not weep, does not see."

Lucas:: It’s really nice having you here. Especially now. I know we haven’t really talked much about the wedding.
Peyton:: Oh God, Luke, the wedding can wait. I mean this is what a marriage is right, good times and bad? I just wish I could help you somehow.
Lucas:: Peyton, you’ve helped me so much. Without saying a word. And I love you.
Peyton:: I love you.

Brooke:: Who is it
Nathan:: Nathan.
Brooke:: Hi, Nate. Come in. It’s a tough day, huh?
Nathan:: Yeah.
Brooke:: I wish there was something I could do for you or Haley or Jamie.
Nathan:: Well, actually we were wondering if there’s anything we could do for you.
Brooke:: How do you mean? Why me?
Nathan:: We know that your mom has been pulling some stuff with the company, and I don’t know, I guess having dealt with parent insanity I wanted to check your head. See how you’re doing.
Brooke:: I’m fine. Really.
Nathan:: That sounds like something I would say. Look, this thing with losing Quentin, it-it’s hard. And I have a feeling its gonna be a pretty prominent thing in our lives for a while, but that doesn’t mean that your problems are any less important, that all of us aren’t here for you.
Brooke:: Look, like I said...
Nathan:: You’re fine. You can handle it. Its all good. Look, I hope that’s true and maybe it is but the thing is, the two of us have been down very similar roads. We were in the same cliques first, we both felt the same pressures, the same expectations. Our parents were like children and we both grew into kind of bad versions of ourselves way too fast. So I think you know I get it.
Brooke: They never really gave us a chance did they? Our parents?
Nathan:: They didn’t know how. Look, the thing is, you made your dream happen, alright? And even though I didn’t quite get there, when it was taken away from me I dealt with it alone. That was stupid, selfish, and wrong. So if your mom tries to take your dream away from you and you feel the same pain I did, I’ve sorta been there, okay? And I’m gonna be kind of pissed off if you don’t come talk to me about it. Anyway, thank you for coming today. It means a lot. I know you didn’t know Quentin, but it doesn’t surprise me that you’re thinking of other people when all this stuff is going on with you. That’s not bad for a girl who never had a chance. Come here.
[Nathan and Brooke hug]

Samantha Walker:: (closing voice-over) Quentin Fields was a basketball player. He was also a son. A brother. Somebody's teammate. And somebody's friend. I never knew Quentin Fields and I guess now I never will. Grief is like the ocean; it's deep and dark and bigger than all of us. And pain is like a thief in the night. Quiet. Persistent. Unfair. Diminished by time and faith and love. I didn't know Quentin Fields, but I'm jealous of him. Because I see how his absence has affected the people who did know him. So I know he mattered to them. And I know he was loved. People say that Quentin Fields was a great basketball player: graceful, fluid, inspiring. They say on a good night it almost seemed as though he could fly. And now he can.

Bridge Over Troubled Water [6.04] edit

Lucas: It’s funny, you know all these years we called him Skills, I always thought it had something to do with basketball.
Nathan: That's not funny.
Lucas: Kinda funny.

Lucas: And the way I see it, Skills would be a better father than Dan ever was.
[Nathan throws a ball at Lucas's head.]

Jamie: Is it because she was kissing Uncle Skills?
Nathan: You knew about that?
Jamie: Yeah, they tried to pretend he was getting something out of her eye but they were just being mushy.
Nathan: And how does it feel to be scarred for life?
Jamie: Fine. I like Nanny Deb and I like Uncle Skills so what if they like each other?
Nathan:It’s a little more complicated than that. Nanny Deb is also my mom.
Jamie:Yeah, but I let you kiss my mom.
Nathan: Eat your soup.

Brooke: Congratulations, Victoria, now you have a company and no daughter. You got your dream.

You've Dug Your Own Grave, Now Lie In It [6.05] edit

opening voiceover:
Carrie:: They say we leave this world just the way we came into it - naked and alone.
Lucas:: So, if we do leave with nothing, what, then, is the measure of a life? Is it defined by the people we choose to love?
Nathan:: Or is life simply measured by our accomplishments?
Brooke:: And what if we fail? Or are never truly loved? What then? Can we ever measure up?
Dan:: Or will the quiet desperation of a life gone wanting drive us mad?

Brooke: I caught a young girl shoplifting the other day. I was pretty hard on her.
Psychologist: Did you feel threatened by her?
Brooke No, I actually felt myself feeling jealous. I realize I let company matter too much. You know, we spend all this time building something up, And then we don't enjoy it. We just sit there, terrified that someone is gonna take it away from us. And there was this girl, and she didn't answer to anything or anyone. And that made me jealous.
Psychologist:What are you going to do about that, with regards to your company?
Brooke: Well, it doesn't matter, I don't have to worry about Clothes Over Bros anymore.
Psychologist: And why is that?
Brooke: I gave it all away. I signed the company over to Victoria. Do you think that I was foolish to give my company to my mother?
Psychologist: Do you think you were foolish?
Brooke: Do you always answer a question with another question?
Psychologist: Does it bother you? In my humble opinion, it was never going to be your company, as long as she was part of it.
Brooke: After I did it I felt great. At first, I felt liberated, but now I just feel kind of empty. Everything that I worked for is gone. I just have this store. And even that's empty now.
Psychologist: That freedom you were jealous of can be scary sometimes. Have you talked to anyone else about it?
Brooke: No. I saw my best friend today, and I couldn't bring myself to tell her.
Psychologist: Why do you think that was?
Brooke: I don't know. I feel a little...a little bit like I failed. You know? I am watching all my friends move on with their lives: Haley and her family, and Millicent is moving to be with Mouth, and Peyton with Lucas and they are all moving forward. And it's like I am stuck here, standing still, and...
Psychologist: Brooke, you're 22 years old and the founder of a multi-million dollar corporation. I'd hardly call that standing still.
Brooke: But it's gone.
Psychologist: You will do something else. You are intelligent, you are creative. You will figure it out. But that's not the real question.
Brooke: Then what is?
Psychologist: All you have talked about is your work, Brooke. But when you mention your friends being happy, you define happiness strictly in terms of relationship and family. The question is, why are you so insistent on going through life alone?

Peyton:: I need a dress! And if it helps, I promise to pay full price. Is my best friend down?
Brooke:: Sure. Do you want the Lindsey Strauss tear-away train? It's what all the runaway brides are gonna be wearing this season.
Peyton:: So not funny. No, I was thinking something like nontraditional, you know? Like rocker-glam-chic, kind of like, Stephanie Seymour dress she wears in the Guns n' Roses video.
Brooke:: Skanky. I can do that.
Peyton:: Who peed in your cheerios?

Peyton:: So, what, was it, like, love at first sight or what?
Mick:: Pretty much. I mean, they met on tour, and I don't remember which one it was, but I remember that she fell for your dad instantly.
Peyton:: What about him? Did he like her right away?
Mick:: Well, you know, they tried to play it cool, Like it wasn't a big deal. But it was. I mean, everybody knew that they re just meant to be together.

Lindsey:: What could possibly be more important than Chicago?
Lucas:: My wedding. It's Peyton. We're getting married.

Dan: God I hate the woods.

Lucas:I never meant to hurt you. Not then and not now.
Lindsey: I know. the thing is, I saw it coming all along. I just tried to wish it away. It wasn't fair to me or to you.
Lucas: Well, I should go, I'm gonna miss my flight.
Lindsey: Okay. You forgot something. [hands the novel Comet to Lucas]. You know the first time we met right here. I told you I was pulling for the couple in the book. Goodbye Lucas.

Carrie:: [laughing]You think you can kill me? You can't kill me, I'm still here.
Dan: I already called the police. They're on the way.
Carrie: So? What are they going to do? I'll get out and I'll come back.
Dan: Do you remember what I told you I'd do if you ever came near my family again? I told you I'd kill you.
Carrie: But you didn't. I'm not dead.
Dan: Sure you are.[shoots Carrie]

Choosing My Own Way of Life [6.06] edit

Lucas: Why do you think he’s avoiding admitting that he’s your father?
Peyton: I don't know, maybe I’m wrong, maybe he’s not. Either way- I will be alright, don’t worry about me!
Lucas: You know I will.

Peyton: Don't forget me when you're a big star Lucas Scott.

Nathan:: You saved my wife. And you saved my son. But you killed my uncle. Right here where I'm standing. I don't know where that leaves us. At least my son loves you.
Dan:: My son hates me.
Nathan:: Both of them.

Inn:: Wow. You know this turnout isn't exactly inspiring me to read your book, Lucas.
Lucas:: Well, whose brilliant idea was it to put this signing in the science-fiction section?
Inn:: It's a book about space, right?
Lucas:: No. Actually um, the comet's a metaphor. It's a love story.
Inn:: Huh. Well, you know what? We could've had this thing out in the middle of main street. We wouldn't have got any more traffic.
Lucas:: Thanks for the support!

Lucas: Hello?
Peyton: Hi… How's my favorite author?
Lucas: Just thinking about his fiancee.
Peyton: Oh, well, should I give you 5 minutes?
Lucas: No, it's okay. Actually, I'm just packing.
Peyton: For Seattle?
Lucas: No, actually I'm going home, the book tour has been canceled.
Peyton: What? What happened?
Lucas: It's okay, it doesn't matter.
Peyton: No, it does matter, you worked so hard for this!
Lucas: It’s okay Peyton! I mean, I still have you and that’s all that really matters! Besides, this book brought us back together so… it’s the best thing I’ve ever written.
Peyton: You come home to me then. I love you.
Lucas: I love you too. I’ll be home soon.

Peyton:: Hi Dad, how are you? No, no, no, everythings okay, I just... I just want to tell you that I love you, and thanks for being my dad.

Our Life Is Not A Movie Or Maybe [6.08] edit

Brooke: Hey 99, I thought you were going to protect 23! Why don’t you get over your whole fear of having children while you’re at it?

Sam: Hey you're short.
Jamie: I`m 5 what's your excuse?
Sam: Nice.

Luke: I just got a call from my agent. Someone made an offer for the movie rights to my book
Peyton: Luke! For the comet? That’s great.
Luke: No, actually. Not for the comet, but Ravens.

Brooke: How could I have signed my company over to that...
Millicent: Slut?
Brooke: To nice. how about "Slunt"

Luke: It’s set in high school. Doesn’t anyone get that? I mean.
Brooke: Great. So I suppose you’ll be getting some snot from the CW...Well at least they’re hot.

Nathan: My back is fine. I promise
Haley: Okay. That’s too bad, because, you know, Jamie’s sleeping over at Brooke’s and thought maybe you’d want a little massage. But you know, it’s fine. I’ll...

[gets up an leaves room]

Nathan: Well, it’s not perfect[gets up and follows]

Brooke: First of all, you are fifteen years old. Second, you kidnapped a 5 year old child, you adolescent Nanny Carrie. And third, you are breaking and entering in the place where I work.

Jamie: I think she’s like Quentin was when Mama met him. She’s nice, she’s just afraid to show it

Sam: I know there’s nothing I can say other than, ‘I’m sorry.’ I do these stupid things sometimes. I really am sorry though. You were nice to me, but I’m just not worth it.
Brooke: And where do you think you’re going...You’re grounded
Sam: You’re not kicking me out?
Brooke:No and I hope that someday, you stop acting surprised when you hear that

Luke: Looks like you two have already met
Julian: Yes we have. And you know what Lucas, it feels like I’ve known her for years

Sympathy For The Devil [6.09] edit

Dan: Cemetery called. Apparently someone gave my tombstone a makeover. Any idea who'd do something like that?
Lucas: What happened in the hallway?
Dan: I assume you mean-
Lucas: Keith. Yeah. I've been asked to adapt my novel for a movie. They want me to write what happened. I can't do it. I can't see it, and I can't understand it.
Dan: Keith was holding Jimmy Edwards in the hallway. He turned and I shot him dead before he could say a word. Keith was a hero. You want to write the truth, you write it that way.
Lucas: Why'd you do it?
Dan: Every good story needs a villain, Lucas. I'm sorry but I'm yours.

Even Fairy Tale Characters Would Be Jealous [6.10] edit

Brooke: You must be Julian.
Julian: Brooke Davis, I've read all about you.
Brooke: Good. Then you know being the third person in a Lucas/Peyton love triangle usually doesn't end well.
Julian: For who?
Brooke: I think it's pretty clear in the book if you're not Lucas or Peyton you should just forget it. And just so you know, they are two of my best friends. So if you mess with them, I will mess with you.
Julian: That sounds like fun.

We Three (My Echo, My Shadow and Me) [6.11] edit

Dan: Not even I would shoot a man in the back, Lucas. Actually that's not true, I've shot several men in the back. Most of them deserved it but I wouldn't recommend you do it.

Lucas: You're free now, Peyton.

You Have To Be Joking – Autopsy Of Devil’s Brain [6.12] edit

Xavier Daniels: (opening voice-over) A little old man and I fell out. I'll tell you what it was all about. He had money and I had none. And that's the way the noise begun

Julian: Better go suit up. "Breakfast club." You were the priss.
Brooke: Let me guess. You were the stoner?
Julian: Well, if you say so. They end up together.
Brooke: Can I help you?
Julian: You should design the wardrobe for the movie.
Brooke: I'm not a costume designer.
Julian: Oh. I can see that.
Brooke: I'm starting a new line.
Julian: Well, okay, let me try this again. You should design the wardrobe for the movie. You were there, it's authentic, it's press-worthy, and I would be lucky to have you before the debut of your new line, which I'm sure is going to be fabulous. Sorry.
(answer the phone)
Julian: Hello? Yes, this is me. It is too me. Oh, listen, I'm with Brooke right now. No, I'm not gonna blow it. No, I am not. No, I'm not. Sorry. Sam says hi.
Brooke: Sam? My sam? And why does my Sam have your phone number?
Julian: She has an interest in the film industry.
Brooke: She is fifteen, you pervert.
Julian: Okay, just wrap your head around it, okay? You and the movie, I mean. Not me and Sam. She's only fifteen, you know. You pervert.

Nathan: (voiceover during basketball tryouts) Numbers are funny. They can measure you, time you, and analyze you all they want, but they all know what really matters is how you play the game. He thinks I've lost a step because of my accident, so he's gonna play me tight. I haven't. Now he'll back off because he doesn't want to get beat off the dribble. Just a half step; that's a mistake. You ever hear the expression you can't measure heart? Well, the truth is they can't measure any of it: heart, want, need. They think I can't play point guard, but Q knew I could. You can't measure a dream.

Brooke: I thought about it. And I'm not interested.
Julian: You couldn't have told me that over the phone?
Brooke: Well, that, yeah, but the rest of this I wanted to say to your face. I don't trust you... Not with Peyton, and definitely not with Sam. And that is not gonna get you anywhere... the grin. I'm sure it's gotten you in a lot of doors and in a lot of beds, but it's not gonna do you any good with me.
Julian: Listen, Brooke, when I make a movie, I set the bar as high as I possibly can. I put together my wish-list cast, my wish-list crew, my wish-list designer, and sometimes, you know, the timing works out, the material works out, and you get lucky. Sometimes you don't. Good luck with everything.

Jamie Scott and Xavier Daniels: (ending voice-over) A man of words and not of deeds is like a garden full of weeds. And when the weeds begin to grow it's like a garden full of snow. And when the snow begins to fall it's like a bird upon the wall. And when the bird away does fly it's like an eagle in the sky. And when the sky begins to roar it's like a lion at the door. And when the door begins to crack it's like a stick across your back. And when your back begins to smart it's like a penknife in your heart. And when your heart begins to bleed, you're dead and dead and dead indeed.

Things a mama don't know [6.13] edit

Peyton: Hi. I have to tell you something.
Lucas: Peyton, are you okay?
Peyton: I know it's late.
Lucas: It's okay if it's late. What's up?
Peyton: I'm not sure that I can call you my fiancé anymore. 'Cause I was thinking maybe I'd start calling you my baby daddy.
Lucas: Are we ... ?
Peyton: I'm having your baby, Lucas Scott. Our baby. We're pregnant. And oh God, I know it's sudden. I just really want you to be okay with it, because i'm very, very ok with it. And oh, it's early, I mean it's too early. It's too early to even tell anybody. I just...
Lucas: I love you...I love you peyton
Peyton: I love you too

Peyton: Hi. You're home. How did it go?
Lucas: Long story. How are you?
Peyton: We're good.
Lucas: :(Lucas kiss her stomach) Yes we are
Peyton: Hey baby. Daddy's home

Andre: My Mama cries a lot. She doesn't think I know. But I can hear her sometimes in her room.
Jamie: My Dad used to cry too. When he was hurt.
Andre: What did you do?
Jamie: I tried to be his friend. My Mama told me, that sometimes people have to cry out all the tears to make room for a heart full of smiles.
Andre: Hope my Momma is ready for a smile!

Attacker: (Chasing Brooke) Ooh, what's the weak little rich girl gonna do now?
Brooke: (Pulls a gun out and points it at Attacker) Weak little rich girl thinks she'll stay awhile.
Attacker: You ain't gonna shoot me.
Brooke: Like I said, you don't know me. I'm not the same girl from the store that night she's gone. You took my life, and you turned it into a nightmare. And all I have though about is that I hate you. I hate you.
(Sam appears at the door along with Julian and Jack)
Sam: Brooke. Brooke, please don't! Please! I need you mom.
Brooke: (To Attacker) I hate you. I hate you so much. But you're not worth any more of my time. And you're not worth my life. (Hits Attacker with the gun) You have a nice night.

A Hand to Take Hold of the Scene [6.14] edit

Brooke: Hi. I'm sorry. I know that we were supposed to look at costumes today. I've just been totally turned around dealing with... fashion femme fatale thwarts killer! The press. Can't they just go back to stalking Britney or something?
Julian: Oh, come on. "Hot clothing designer tracks down attacker and exacts revenge." If you're not gonna sell me the movie rights, you should at least ame the tabloid.
Brooke: So that every time I look at it, I can be reminded of the fact that my attacker was also Quentin's killer and that maybe if I had reported it.
Julian: Brooke, you were attacked by a guy in a mask. Even if you had reported it, the chances of the police finding him were slim to none. It's not your fault.
Brooke: I know. It's just sad.
Julian: Yeah. Listen, take the day, focus on your work. I'll come back tonight and see where you're at, okay? I got you a latte, extra foam. See you

Brooke: All right, let's see what you got. Sketches of costumes for business meeting, check. Slightly moody lighting in case I have totally lost my mojo and this is actually a date, check. Okay. Beer says "Come on in, get comfortable, let's talk business." “Wine says do me." Hard liquor it is okay.
[Julian arrive talking to the phone]
Julian: Okay, right. Yeah, well, let's just make sure we're paying the minimums, 'cause the last thing we need is the union on our ass. Uh, were you just on your way out? We were meeting tonight, right?
Brooke: Yeah.I-I had a charity thing. Earlier. I'm read to roll up my sleeves and get to work. Just let me take some of this.
Julian: Thank you.
Brooke: Can I get you anything to drink?
Julian: Actually, I brought us some wine. I hope that's okay.
Brooke: Wine is perfect.

Brooke: So, we have home- and away-game ravens jerseys, and for the popular kids, if you want to keep it realistic, cheerleading uniforms, lettermen jackets, and a lot of jeans.
Julian: Well, clearly, you have this under control.
Brooke: Well, Brooke Davis will be particularly easy to dress.
Julian: Why, because she spent most of high school naked?
Brooke: No, jerk. Because I still have all of her clothes. And I don't care what it says in your little script. You don't know me well enough to judge me.
Julian: Well, actually, I feel like I do know you.
Brooke: Why? Because I'm so transparent?
Julian: No. Because of the book. You know, truth be told, I read it because of Peyton, but I related to it because of you.
Brooke: More wine?

Brooke: So, I drop-kicked the company to my mother, and I washed my hands of everything.
Julian: I admire you, letting it all go and starting over like that.
Brooke: Well, I don't know if it was brave, or if I was just a total coward.
Julian: It's brave. I have a similar situation.
Brooke: You have an evil bitch mother?
Julian: No, perennially disappointed father. I took my mom's last name so I could make it on my own, but time and again, I go back to my dad for help. And time and again, he makes me feel like a failure. But one of these days.
Brooke: Well, here's to that day.

Brooke: So, can I get you anything else? Another drink or.
Julian: I'd love to, but I should probably get going. Um, this was nice, Brooke.
Brooke: Yes, it was. Julian, what was this?
Julian: Um. We should probably just say this was what it was, 'cause anything else gets complicated.
Brooke: Perfect.
Julian: I'll see myself out. This has to be business, right? I mean, with Peyton and.
Brooke: This should be business.
Julian: We can't just ...I mean, I kiss you, and then it gets.
Brooke: Definitely. It would be.
Julian: It would be.
Brooke: Yes.
[they kiss]

We Change, We Wait [6.15] edit

Talking to Adam.
Lucas: Let me tell you why you're not gonna direct this movie. Because you can't identify with this world. I want a director who can recreate the feeling I get every time I step out onto the river court at night. I want someone who can explain to the audience why one song can instantly change Peyton's mood. Someone who can recognize that there are two completely different sides to Brooke Davis, both of which are amazing. I want a director who can make the little things the big things. And you are just not the guy to do that.

Peyton: I always dreamed I'd be wearing Keith's ring, and I know how much it means to you...so that's the ring I want to wear for the rest of my life.
Lucas: Are you sure?
(She nods. Lucas gets Keith's ring and puts it on her finger)
Lucas: Now, it's right where it belongs.
Peyton: And it will be forever.

Julian: I want you to have this. :[he give her the jacket]
Brooke: And what is this supposed to mean?
Julian: It means we're going steady.
Brooke: This isn't a game,julian.
Julian: I know. When I first got here everyone thought I came for a girl... the girl in the book. But I only came here to make a movie. But now it turns out everyone was right. I am here for the girl in the book... the other girl.
[They kiss]
Brooke: maybe we should continue this in my bedroom...
Brooke and Julian together: preferably without our clothes.

Screenwriter’s Blues [6.16] edit

Peyton: Hi, I'm here to read for the part of Peyton Sawyer. "First of all, you don't know me. Second of all, you don't know me. God, why are guys such jerks?"
Adam: Too old, but she would make a great Deb.
Lucas: Um... she's the real Peyton

Julian: Does that look like Mr.Popular to you? I know you're not the person you were in high school 'cause i'm not either. And i'm glad 'cause... that kid would've never stood a chance with you.
Brooke: Were you really a Mathlete?
Julian: I was THE Mathlete. But, i'm not anymore, and I don't want high school, Brooke. I'm sorry to breakdown your feelings but was meant to describe who the character was before anyone got to know the real person. :[(Julian gives Brooke a list)] That's the breakdown describing the Brooke Davis I'm looking for.
Brooke: "Gorgeous brunette with an amazing energy and smile. Funny. Intelligent. Kind-hearted. Strong-headed. Simple. Complicated. Motherly. Childish. Tough. Sensitive. Beautiful. Way cooler than she was in high school."
Julian: That girl has been nearly impossible to find, but worth every second of the wait.

You and Me and the Bottle Makes Three Tonight [6.17] edit

Peyton: We haven't even picked out names yet. I was thinking "Anna." "Anna" for a little girl after my mom.
Lucas: Come on. Don't.
Peyton: Or maybe. Um... maybe "Sawyer" for a boy... Sawyer Scott.

Lucas: Well then we'll try again okay? Okay? We can adopt okay? I mean, if your parents never would have adopted we never would have met.
Peyton: I know. I know honey. And I love you for that. But this little life inside of me... it's you and it's me. And I want him to have your goofy squint and I want her to have my chickeny legs.

Lucas: A while back. I had a dream... that something happened to you. It got me to thinking about my life without you and I... I can't... No. I can't live that life. I can't.

Peyton: Maybe the whole point of you and me and every single moment that we've shared together has just been leading us here. Maybe you and I are meant to create this life because maybe this life is gonna change the world.

Brooke: Why are you doing this?
Julian: Because I'm trying to figure out why you got so freaked out about what I said.
Brooke: By examining my ex list? So I dated a few guys in New York. So what?
Julian: You weren't in love with any of them?
Brooke: I didn't have time for love okay? And even if I had Victoria would have never allowed it. So there it is.
Julian: So then the last time you were in love...Now I get it.
Brooke: Yeah. It was a long time ago. Where are you going?
Julian: If you have more than one copy of Lucas' book I'm out of here.
Brooke: Look I'm sorry if it's weird for you.
Julian: You still love him?
Brooke: No. I don't.
Julian: Yeah. That's what Peyton said.
Brooke: First of all. Peyton fed me that story long before she told it to you, so I've been there. And second, I love her, but I'm not Peyton.
Julian: I'm sorry. It's just that I've already been in a relationship that had the stench of Lucas Scott hanging over it.
Brooke: And how do you think I feel? I'm the girl who's dating the guy who came to town in the first place to get Peyton back.
Julian: Okay not exactly true,but... point taken.
Brooke: Yeah. it sucks always being the footnote in someone else's love story.
Julian: But you're right you know. You're not Peyton. Lucas and Peyton's story is all about romance and destiny and fate. But you're different.
Brooke: Um... thanks?
Julian: Brooke Davis writes her own story like you did with your career and your company and with Sam. You choose your own path.
Brooke: Yeah. But you can't choose who you love.
Julian: You're right. You don't. But you choose whether or not you open your heart to love.
Brooke: What do you want me to say?
Julian: How about "I love you too Julian"?
Brooke: How about. "I like you a lot"? This is all happening really fast. What happened to just having fun? And you know it's not as simple for me. I have Sam to think about.
Julian: Don't do that.
Brooke: What?
Julian: Don't hide behind Sam.
Brooke: I'm not hiding.
Julian: Yes you are. And you want to know what I think? I think you do love me... or you could love me... but you're just too stubborn and scared to admit it because the last time you really gave your heart to someone it got broken. And I get that. I've been there. But somewhere along the line you gave up on the idea that you deserve to feel this way again. But you don't see what I see Brooke. You deserve this. So I'm gonna try one more time. I love you. I'm in love with you. I'm so lost and completely in love with you. I have been ever since I saw you doing that ridiculous Molly Ringwald dance
Brooke: Julian...I... I care about you so much.
Julian: Never let it be said that Brooke Davis is easy.
Brooke: Julian.
Julian: I'm sorry….That wasn't fair. You know what? It's okay. Someday you'll let someone in. Today's just not that day.
Brooke: I don't want this to change anything.
Julian: No it won't. It won't. You know you were right. It's my fault. We were just having fun and I just... you overwhelmed me a little bit…It's too soon.
Brooke: It is a little too soon.
Julian: Yeah. I know. I'll tell you what... why don't you go get ready for dinner? We'll pretend the last hour never happened.
Brooke: Are you sure? I mean... can we really do that?
Julian: Yeah. In fact in the movie business we do it all the time. It's called a deleted scene. Go pull yourself together Brooke Davis. You look a mess. I'll wait for you.
Brooke: Okay.

Searching For A Former Clarity [6.18] edit

Julian: Well look at it this way, Luke: you lost a movie and a huge production bonus, and I lost a movie, a huge production bonus and two amazing girls.
Lucas: Yeah, what happened with Brooke anyway?
Julian: Well, we started out just having fun, but then she told me she needed it to be more than that, so I made it more than that, at which point she freaked out and said that she just wanted to have fun. Which made it really not fun for either of us.

Nathan: I don't know man. I leave town and everything goes to hell. Haley gets fired, movie falls apart..
Lucas: Dan's heart.
Nathan: Yeah, my mom called me, told me there's a problem. What's up?
Lucas: Oh he didn't tell you?
Nathan: No.
Lucas: Dog ate it.
Nathan: What?
Lucas: I'm serious. A dog ate his heart.
Nathan: You're kidding me.
Lucas: I'm standing right there and this stoner guy's dog trips the paramedic and gobbles up his heart.
Nathan: You're serious?
Lucas: I'm not joking.
Nathan: Wow.
Lucas: Yeah.
Nathan: So I guess...this means he's going to die.

Adam: (to Lucas and Julian) Sometimes the beauty is in the attempt, we took the shot, we gave it everything we could we did it well. It just didn’t work out. And when that happens, you get two options: You can sit in a public park like a couple of homos pouting, drinking cheap beers or you can celebrate the attempt!

Dan: You're my sons and I failed you. I'm sorry for that, for so many other things. But I'm proud that each of you have become the man that I could never be. You're good men and you're good brothers. Don't let the world change that.

Letting Go [6.19] edit

Brooke: Did you come to say goodbye?
Julian: Well,I was thinking maybe this didn't have to be goodbye.
Brooke: What does that mean?
Julian: You said you didn't want to be a footnote in someone else's love story. Well, maybe it's time we write our own epic love story. This time tomorrow,we could be walking on a beach in malibu.
Brooke: But what about sam? I can't leave her here.
Julian: Yeah,I thought you'd say that. And I agree.
Brooke: Julian.
Julian: Look, I know you're gonna come up with a million reasons why you shouldn't. So I'm just gonna give you this one why you should. I love you... Brooke Davis. Come with me.

Brooke: Guess what. Your ex-boyfriend just asked Sam and I to go to L.A. with him tonight.
Peyton: Jake?
Brooke: This isn’t funny.
Peyton: Wow that’s a really big deal. It’s good, right?
Brooke: No it would be ridiculous to go with him. I have a store here, my friends are here, my life is here.

Julian: You haven’t trusted me since I got here.
Peyton: Because it seemed like you came here with an axe to grind.
Julian: Maybe I did, but somewhere along the line this place changed me. Brooke changed me. I love her, and I want Sam to come with us so that we can be a family.

Chase: (to Brooke) You remind me of that Springsteen line – “there were ghosts in the eyes of all the boys you sent away.”

Brooke: What are you doing?
Sam: Julian told me he invited you to L.A. So I packed your bag.
Brooke: No,he didn't invite me. He invited us.
Sam: Hang on. I packed my stuff, too. I just didn't know if you wanted me to come.
Brooke: Sam,you have school.
Sam: They have schools in L.A.
Brooke: You have Jack. You have a life here. This is a stable environment.
Sam: I'm a survivor. I'll roll with it.
Brooke: You shouldn't have to keep rolling with anything. That was the whole point of you coming to live with me.
Sam: He loves you. He's a great guy. He wants us all to try it out together. Don't you get it? Most people dream of this moment. Why aren't we already out the door?
Brooke: Because most people don't leave their lives behind to run off to California with someone that they have only known for a month, Sam, that's why.
Sam: Brooke, you're a good person, a cool designer, and a kick-ass mom, but...sometimes you're your own biggest enemy. You're twenty-two. You have your whole life ahead of you. You have this awesome dude at the airport who loves you! God, you have to go. You have to.

Julian: Brooke. Brooke. It's okay. If this were a movie, it would end different. But life's not a movie. I guess that makes two films that didn't work out. Goodbye, Brooke Davis.

Principal: Your students walked across town to be taught by you. It's hard to get them to walk down the hall to most classes. Would you consider...
Haley: I love teaching but I would never sacrifice what I believe in to teach. You fired me right here in front of all my students just because you could. So congratulations, you made a good teacher not want to teach and good students not want to learn. Be proud of that.

Lucas: When Haley was pregnant did you ever worry about what might go wrong?
Nathan: Of course. Just stay off the internet, it’s full of horror stories. Haley read something that convinced her that Jamie was going to be born with two heads.

Jamie: I’m sad I never got to meet Uncle Keith
Lucas: I’m sad about that too.
Jamie: I’m sad about what Grandpa Dan did. Am I still allowed to miss Grandpa Dan?
Lucas: Yeah, Jamie, you are.
Jamie: I like it here (in the autoshop)…You bring something broken and you fix it up.
Lucas: Yeah, I always liked it here too.

A Kiss to Build a Dream On [6.21] edit

Mia Catalano: Stay out of it, Nick Lachey!

Show me how to live [6.22] edit

Peyton: The Honorary Title, Matthew Ryan, The Cure, Audioslave, Haley James-Scott. They're all in here. It's music to save your life and music always helps, no matter what you're going through. So if you flunk a big test or you have a really bad breakup or you just miss someone so bad that it hurts, then listen to my playlist "a hundred songs to save your life". Then that should help. ... My best friend - okay this one is so important; choose wisely, I got really lucky with mine. My best friend is funny, intelligent, creative, beautiful, and successful, and very kind. She’s also impulsive, frustrating, um complicated, childish, but I would not have her any other way. And the best part about Brooke Davis is that she always puts friends first. So if you are ever in any kind of trouble, you know who to call. I can’t think of anyone I’d rather have watching over you...I really hope that we get to share these things together, but just in case - they’re in here. Now there’s just one thing I need from you, please take very special care of your father, because if I’m not around he’s gonna need you to take care of him just like my dad needed me. So love him. And take care of him. And be kind to him, just please do that for me

Lucas: I caught Peyton making a time capsule, a just-in-case capsule.
Nathan: Oh.
Lucas: I mean, this is supposed to be the best time of my life.

Lucas: Peyton wants to get married. Right away.
Nathan: You gotta realize, if you had one day left with Peyton, would you want to spend it arguing, or just being married?

Jamie:Hey it’s mama as a cheerleader.
Lucas: Yeah and that’s Aunt Brooke and Aunt Peyton. Who’s in that one?
Jamie: Lets see it’s Uncle Keith, Aunt Karen, and who’s that?
Lucas: That’s me.
Jamie: You were a funny looking kid.
Lucas: Hey.
Jamie: You’re kind of my Uncle Keith, aren’t you?
Lucas: I like to think that I’m just like him.

Lucas: There’s still one thing missing.
Peyton: What’s that?
Lucas: Our wedding photo.
Peyton: Really? Can we get married right away?
Lucas: Sure, only if the doctor says it’s okay. It’s not cause of the baby or our situation or any damn thing. I want you to be my wife because I love you. I love you with all my heart.
Peyton: I love you too.

Forever and Almost Always [6.23] edit

[open voiceover]
Lucas: Sometimes when you look back at your life certain moments stand out: the day you graduated high school, your wedding day, the day you found out you were going to be a father. Most of the time they happen in that order. Most of the time.

Brooke: I am so pissed right now that whore stole my man!
Haley: Okay, but its their wedding day so don't you think its time to let it go? (Haley and Peyton start giggling)

Haley: I believe in true love. I believe in love at first sight. I believe love conquers all. And that doesn’t mean there’s not gonna be hard days or difficult things to deal with, because there will be. But finding that person who does it for you and knowing that person loves you back it just makes everything so much easier. “Peyton Sawyer will become Peyton Scott.” That was the dream. And here we are 10 years later and we all get to witness today a dream come true.

Lucas: Peyton, I’ve loved you since the first time i saw you. And this ring and these words are just simply a way to show the rest of the world what has been in my heart for as long as I’ve known you. I love you, Peyton Elizabeth Sawyer. I always have and I always will
Peyton: Lucas Scott… We’ve been through so much together. And despite how confused I’ve been or lost I might have gotten there was always you. Finding me and saving me. You deserve to be adored so that’s what we’re gonna do, your baby and me. We are going to adore you for years to come. I am so terribly in love with you. And I always will be.

Julian: Hi. I saw the light on I thought maybe Brooke was here. I’m Julian.
Victoria: Of course you are. Victoria Davis.
Julian: Of course you are. Would you ask Brooke to call me please?
Victoria: You do realize the name of the company is Clothes Over Bros, yes?
Julian: My father always made me feel like I wasn’t good enough. Any time I had any success he would remind me of my failures. I see that in Brooke. She’s so talented and good-hearted and beautiful, but she carries around this feeling that she’s not good enough. And she has you to thank you for that. Good work.
Victoria: Are you finished?
Julian: No, not yet. I love your daughter. I’m in love with her. And one of these days she’s gonna love me back and when she does I want you to understand something: you’re either gonna learn to be nice to her, or you wont be in her life. Nice to meet you Victoria. Feels like I’ve known you all my life.

Remember Me as a Time of Day [6.24] edit

Lucas: You know, I’m in a little...I’m in a little over my head here. I took her home and I’m doing what I can, but she needs her Mom. I need here Mom. She doesn’t even have a name. We were supposed to do that together. I can’t do this without you. And I’m just afraid that I’m gonna lose you and it’s just gonna be the two of us. And she doesn’t even have a name.
Peyton: Sawyer. Okay? Her name is Sawyer.
Lucas: Sawyer Scott, okay. God you scared me.

Brooke: (After seeing Peyton is awake) Peyton!
Peyton: You said you would disown me if I left without permission.
Lucas: (Laughs)

Julian: You need to go home, Brooke. You’ve been awake for the better part of the last four days and it’s not healthy.
Brooke: I need to be here when she wakes up.
[Julian places a paper bag on the ground in between them]
Brooke: What is that?
Julian: Every fashion magazine I could find.
Brooke: But you just said…
Julian: Yeah, but I knew when I said that you needed to go home that you’d say you needed to be here when Peyton woke up, because you’re stubborn, Brooke Davis.
Brooke: You don’t know me.
Julian: I think I do.
Brooke: She needs to wake up.

Brooke: So I guess you have to be getting back to L.A.
Julian: Yeah, we’re prepping the movie.
Brooke: You know, I haven’t even asked what it’s about.
Julian: You know: boy meets girl, boy loses girl. Anyway, it was great getting to spend time with you Brooke, even given the circumstances.

Dan: I assume that's loaded.
Whitey: I bought this gun hoping to see your face again. I'll just say you broke in, came at me.
Dan: You'd be doing me a favor.
Whitey: You look like a haunted man. I heard you had a heart problem. It's not surprising, you've always had a heart problem.
Dan: I wish I'd gone back in that game. State championship. When I look back at my life and see where it all went wrong, that's where I always end up. Fourth quarter, time running down and sitting on the bench at the state championship and refusing to play. At night in my dreams I do go back in, and in my dreams I take it back, all of it, and then I wake up. I'm sorry. I'm sorry for that day and every day since. I'm sorry for what I did to Keith and the people who love him.
Whitey: Did you ever love him?
Dan: Not enough.

Dan: I was supposed to be dead months ago.:[grabs the gun] I use to wonder why I was still alive. Then I realized, I'm not. I'm dead and this is my hell.:[cocks gun] Lucas got married and had a baby girl, and Nathan he's got Jamie. And I get to see the happiest moments of their lives, but I don't get to feel those moments, I don't get to be apart of their lives.
Whitey: You created that Danny.
Dan: :[Contemplates shooting himself and then rushes towards Whitey ] Pull the trigger. Take the pain away, please! Please!
Whitey::[takes gun away and hugs Dan] Maybe you're still here for redemption.

Nathan: I was thinking we could take a trip to Charlotte, you could wear that dress, we could take Jamie.
Haley: Nathan, what happened?
Nathan: I’m not on the Chiefs anymore.
Haley: Oh babe, I’m sorry.
Nathan: It’s okay, what do you say Haley James? Want to take the boy to Charlotte and maybe we could see a basketball game? I kind of have to be there anyway, seeing as I’m the Bobcats’ new point guard.
Haley: What?
Nathan: I’m the point guard for the Charlotte Bobcats. I got called up.
Haley: You’re in the NBA?
[crying]
Nathan: I’m in the NBA. Thank you. Thank you for believing in me.
Haley: Thank you for being worth it.

Nathan: Jamie sports is up next.
Jamie: What’s the big deal? I got wifi on my phone.
Haley: Get over here and watch with us.
Mouth: (On TV) Last night in the NBA the Charlotte Bobcats quietly made a move that most sports fans wouldn’t have noticed, adding a point guard to their roster for the rest of the season. But we’re leading with that story because this point guard is a local legend who overcame adversity and difficult circumstances in pursuit of a dream. Last night the Charlotte Bobcats called up a former Tree Hill Raven, a great guy and a good friend Nathan Scott. Jamie Scott hug your dad for all of us because he just made it to the NBA and we couldn’t be more proud!
Jamie: I knew you could do it!

Dan: Could I hold her?
Peyton: No……why?
Dan: Because she’s the only one in my world that doesn’t know what I’ve done.
Peyton: Just for a second.
Dan: I’d forgotten what it was like. She’s so beautiful. What’s her name?
Peyton: Sawyer.
Dan: Sawyer Scott. And now said Max, let the wild rumpus start.
Peyton: Where the Wild Things Are.
Dan: I used to read it to Nathan. Seems like another lifetime ago.
Peyton: It was.
Dan: I know you’re gonna have to tell her about me someday. I’m sorry for that.

Brooke: So how’s it feel P.Sawyer? You have a family now. You have this whole other life to look after.
Peyton: It feels just like I dreamed it would.
Brooke: Can I hold her?
Peyton: Yeah!
Brooke: Hi Sawyer, I’m your Aunt Brooke, and I’m going to spoil you! Yes I am Sawyer Scott!
Peyton: Sawyer Brooke Scott.
Brooke: Really?
Peyton: Yeah.

Brooke: You told me that someday I’d be ready to let someone in. I think today might be someday.
Julian: If this was a movie, you’d kiss me right now.
Brooke: No, I’d say I love you, and then I’d kiss you….I love you.

Victoria: When I was young, there was a boy that loved me. And I loved him back. But he wasn’t from my circle of friends and he was different from what my parents expected, so I let him go. And not a day has gone by that I don’t regret it.
Brooke: Why haven’t you told me that?
Victoria: Because I’m a terrible mother. I have a daughter that is strong and bright. Kind-hearted and so beautiful, and I’ve nearly broken her with my inability to open my heart. But I haven’t broken her. She’s just as strong and beautiful and kind-hearted as ever. She simply misnamed her company. Because if this boy Julian loves you, and you love him, that’s all that matters. That is the most important thing, and the clothes can wait. This is for you.
Brooke: What is it?
Victoria: It’s the company. It’s all yours, 100%.
Brooke: But why?
Victoria: I’d rather have my daughter than a company.
Brooke: But you love this company.
Victoria: Yeah, but I was wrong. I should’ve loved you more, the company less, but I just didn’t know how.
Brooke: Mom. I want you to stay on and run things from New York.
Victoria: You’re keeping me?
Brooke: You’re good at what you do. And besides, you’re my mother.
Victoria: My daughter. I love you so much. And I’m so proud of you.

[ending voiceover]
Mouth: Take a look at yourself in a mirror who do you see looking back?
Haley: Is it the person you want to be?
Dan: Or is there someone else you were meant to be, the person you should have been, but fell short of?
Mia: Is someone telling you you can’t or won’t? Because you can.
Chase: Believe that love is out there.
Nathan: Believe that dreams come true every day. Because they do.
Peyton: Sometimes happiness doesn’t come from money or fame or power. Sometimes happiness comes from good friends and family and the quiet nobility of leading a good life.
Julian: Believe that dreams come true every day. Because they do.
Brooke: Believe that dreams come true every day. Because they do.
Peyton: So take a look in that mirror and remind yourself to be happy because you deserve to be. Believe that.
Lucas: And believe that dreams come true every day. Because they do.

(Last lines)
Lucas: Wanna take a ride with me, Peyton Sawyer?
Peyton: Don't you mean, Peyton Scott?
