Nicolaas Bloembergen
Dutch-born American physicist
Nicolaas Bloembergen (March 11, 1920 – September 5, 2017) was a Dutch/American physicist, who was awarded the 1981 Physics Nobel Prize for his work on laser spectroscopy.
