Dropship Command: Team Venom, this is Dropship Command. ETA on the planet is forty seconds. I'm going to be a sitting duck down there, so you damn well better be at the dustoff site when I get there. You get the stuff?
Mercenary: Roger, Dropship Command. I've got the recon data and one pissed-off Atlas on my tail!
Col. Holly Harris: Get that data back to the ship now! I'll take this Draconis scumbag! [the Atlas 'mech fires, blowing off the right arm on Harris' Zeus] Damn! Eat this! [returns fire, disabling the Atlas]
Mercenary: Thanks, Commander. [exchanging fire with other enemy 'mechs] DC, coming in on the rise!
Dropship Command: Dropship Command here. My weapons systems are down. I'm getting the hell outta here.
Harris: Negative! I need more time!
Dropship Command: You're out of time! I'm not getting paid enough to die! Securing for orbital burn!
[The dropship takes off, leaving Harris behind]
Harris: There's still room in Hell for your sorry carcass. [a Catapult 'mech destroys Harris' Zeus with long-range missiles]
Dropship Command: [to the Mercenary] Look at the bright side, kid; you get to keep all the money.
