2014 German-Australian 3D computer-animated comedy adventure film by Alexs Stadermann

Maya the Bee (promoted theatrically as Maya the Bee Movie, and 107 minutes release on Signature Edition on TBA 2023 by Universal Pictures under Studio Distribution Services and DreamWorks Pictures) is a 2014 3D computer-animated comedy adventure film directed by Alexs Stadermann, loosely based on the German children's book of the same name by Waldemar Bonsels. It was released theatrically in Australia on November 1 2014, and also in United States and Canada on March 8 2015.

Directed by Alexs Stadermann. Produced by Barbara Stephen and Thorsten Wegener. Written by Fin Edquist and Marcus Sauermann.

Sammy: Kid. [he runs away] "What if?" THAT'S STUPID!!! I hate those words.

Maya: Buzz! Buzz!

[The next day...the kid bees sat down on their seats]

Teacher: Don't panic. It's just a classroom!
