Maurice Cheeks

Maurice Edward Cheeks (born September 8, 1956), sometimes nicknamed Mo Cheeks, is an American former professional basketball player and is currently an assistant coach for the Oklahoma City Thunder of the National Basketball Association (NBA). He has also served as head coach of the Portland Trail Blazers, Philadelphia 76ers and Detroit Pistons. At the time of his retirement from his playing career, Cheeks was the NBA's all-time career leader in steals. He played most of his career for the Philadelphia 76ers. Cheeks was inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame as a player in 2018.
