Mari Emmanuel
Iraqi-born Australian Christian cleric
Mar Mari Emmanuel (born Robert Shlimon; 19 July 1970) is an Iraqi-born Assyrian Australian prelate. He is the bishop of Christ the Good Shepherd Church in Wakeley, New South Wales.
On 15 April 2024, Emmanuel was stabbed at his church during a livestreamed sermon and lost his right eye from the terrorist attack.
