Manuel Carlos Valls Galfetti (French: [ma.nɥɛl vals], Catalan: [mənuˈɛl ˈβaʎs], Spanish: [maˈnwel ˈβals]; born 13 August 1962) is a French and Spanish politician who was Prime Minister of France from 31 March 2014 to 6 December 2016. He was the Minister of the Interior from 2012 to 2014. He was a member of the Socialist Party until 2017. Since June 2019 he has been serving as a member of the Barcelona City Council.
