Quotes about Kritya-kalpataru
edit- “The Kalpataru has size (though it is not as extensive as the Viramitrodaya), has great range, but in quality it is very inferior not only to Mitãkshara but also to some other digests. Lengthy discussions in the Kalpatru are few and far between. It is more in the nature of a collection from all smritis.”
- P.V. Kane, quoted in Kishore, Kunal (2016). Ayodhyā revisited. ch 1
