José Hermano Saraiva

José Hermano Baptista Saraiva (Leiria, 3 October 1919 — Palmela, 20 July 2012) was a Portuguese lawyer, historian, teacher, politician, diplomat and television presenter. He occupied the position of Minister of Education between 1968 and 1970, in a troubled period of the country's political life. He's described frequently as the Prince of Communicators for his work for the sake of History, Culture, Literature and Television, according to the post-humous homage payed to him by the Portuguese Republic's Assembly.
