In utmost England let it find a home.
    • "An Etruscan Ring", II, in T. S. Baynes; Lewis Campbell (eds.), Alma Mater's Mirror (1887), p. 218
  • The soul beyond her knowing seems to sweep
Out of the deep, fire-winged, into the deep.

Quotes about Mackail

edit
  • From D-wks and Ch-tty at my tail

    • The Masque of B-ll--l (1880)
I am tall and rather stately
And I care not very greatly
What you say, or what you do.
