John Reid, Baron Reid of Cardowan
British politician (born 1947)
John Reid, Baron Reid of Cardowan PC (born 8 May 1947) is a British Labour Party politician who held various Cabinet positions under Prime Minister Tony Blair from 1999 to 2007, lastly as Home Secretary from 2006 to 2007. He was a Member of Parliament (MP) from 1987 to 2010 and has been a Member of the House of Lords since 2010.
