Jamie Raskin

American lawyer, politician, and U.S. Representative from Maryland since 2017

Jamie Raskin (born Jamin B. Raskin[1], on December 13, 1962, in Washington, D.C.) is an American U.S. representative for Maryland's 8th congressional district since 2017. A member of the Democratic Party, he served in the Maryland State Senate from 2007 to 2016. Before his election to Congress, he taught Constitutional law at American University Washington College of Law in Washington, D.C.
