George Plimpton

American writer (1927–2003)

George Ames Plimpton (18 March 192725 September 2003) was an American actor, editor, journalist and writer. He wrote often about sports (particularly baseball) and founded the The Paris Review. He played one of the psychiatrists in the 1997 film Good Will Hunting.
