Fatma Karume (born 15 June 1969) is a Tanzanian and independent lawyer, an activist who served as the President of Tanganyika Law Society (TLS) in the period from 2018 to 2019. She got that position after winning the party's presidential election which was held in April 2018 and thus succeeded his predecessor Tundu_Lissu who led the party from 2017 to 2018.

The constitution of the TLS party allows to lead for a period of only one year. Rugemelez Nshala was elected in that election as the Vice President of the party. So he was the president of TLS until 2019 Dr.Rugemeleze Nshala[1] when he was elected as the new president.
