Elena and the Secret of Avalor

Elena and the Secret of Avalor is an American computer-animated musical fantasy adventure crossover television movie between two Disney television series, Disney Junior's Sofia the First and Elena of Avalor, taking place before the latter series. It is also the 21st episode of Season 3 and the 74th episode overall for the former series. It premiered on November 20, 2016, on both Disney Channel and Disney Junior. The Primetime special was directed and Executive Produced by Jamie Mitchell and Craig Gerber Executive Produced and wrote the screenplay.

- Sofia: [after freeing Elena from the amulet] Are you okay?
- Elena: [having just stumbled a little] I'm good, I'm good. Guess that's what happens when you're stuck inside an amulet for 41 years. You forget how to walk. [picks up Sofia and hugs her tightly] I knew you were the one! Thank you!
- Sofia: [in a strained voice] You're welcome.
- Elena: [pulls out Shuriki's wand in which she had just been looking for] Looking for this?
- Shuriki: How did you get that? [realizes] It was that little princess, the one with the necklace.
- Queen Miranda: Wait. Sofia's involved in this?
- Elena: Yes. She freed me from her amulet [to Shuriki] so that I could free Avalor from you.
- Shuriki: [to her guards, after Elena escapes] I want her captured by nightfall. Her and that little princess.
- King Roland II: Leave Sofia out of this!
- Shuriki: And lock them up while you're at it.
- King Roland II: You'll regret this!
- Shuriki: I doubt it.
- Sofia: [after Sofia and Elena free Sofia's family from the dungeon] Dad, this is Princess Elena.
- Elena: I'm sorry for the danger I put your family in, but I'd waited so many years for the one princess who could free me from the amulet. And that was Sofia. I sensed it from the very first day she moved into your castle.
- King Roland II: So, when I was picking out Sofia's welcome gift, it was you who made the amulet glow?
- Elena: Yes. I needed someone young enough to get close to Shuriki without making her suspicious, but brave and clever enough to get me out. So you shouldn't be mad at her. [pulls Sofia close to her] You should be proud.
- Sofia: [holds out her amulet] Elena, I guess this belongs to you.
- Elena: Sofia, I want you to have it. For all you've done for Avalor. Besides, I think I've seen enough of that amulet for a lifetime.
- Sofia: [she and Elena hug] Thank you, Elena.
