Dune: Prophecy
Dune: Prophecy is an American science fiction television series developed by Diane Ademu-John and Alison Schapker for HBO. Set in Frank Herbert's Dune universe, the series focuses on the origins of the Bene Gesserit, a powerful social, religious, and political force whose members possess superhuman powers and abilities after undergoing years of intense physical and mental conditioning. Dune: Prophecy is a prequel to the 2021 Denis Villeneuve film Dune, which adapts the first half of the 1965 novel of the same name by Frank Herbert, and it takes place some 10,000 years before the events of the film. The show, which draws upon, but is set after, the Great Schools of Dune novel trilogy (2012–2016) by Brian Herbert and Kevin J. Anderson, is produced by Legendary Television, with Schapker serving as showrunner, writer, and executive producer.

edit- Valya Harkonnen: I see you wasted no time stepping in. Mother Dorotea, what are you doing?
- Mother Dorotea: What should've been done long ago.
- Valya: Why do you need access to the breeding index?
- Dorotea: So I can return the Sisterhood to its values.
- Valya: You can't do this!
- Dorotea: We are the hand that points toward a righteous path. We are meant to guide the Imperium, not rule it.
- Valya: We must create the path and lead others to it. We are the only ones who can.
- Dorotea: Ever since you arrived, you and your sister, Tula, you've thought too highly of yourself.
- Valya: You'd risk our destruction to keep your principles pure. Mother Raquella didn't share your beliefs, nor do others aside from your faction of zealots! You heard what she said. You swore to use every tool!
- Dorotea: Because I did not want to fight with her on her deathbed. This is no tool. This is us playing God. And we will be judged for it. I honor my grandmother, but this great work of hers must be destroyed.
- Valya: I beg of you, don't do this. Dorotea! [uses the Voice] STOP!!! [Dorotea stops and becomes frozen stiff by Valya Harkonnen, via the Voice] FACE ME!!! [Dorotea turns around and faces Valya]
- Dorotea: [becomes confused] What?
- Valya: A new skill I've been honing. One I'd hoped to share with you. And I will... if you bend.
- Dorotea: I will never bend to you, Valya Harkonnen.
- Valya: [using the Voice] THEN TAKE OUT YOUR BLADE!!! [Dorotea, under the spell of the Voice, pulls out a knife] DRIVE IT INTO YOUR THROAT!!! [Dorotea stabs herself in the neck with the knife, falls down on the floor and dies]

edit- [Constantine Corrino and Shannon Richese are making love with each other and having a very serious conversation]
- Shannon Richese: The stories of your prowess have transcended time and space. I've always wondered if they were true.
- Constantine Corrino: Am I failing to live up to expectations?
- Shannon: I could use a little more convincing.
- Constantine: Is that so? [picks up Shannon with his bare hands, carries her and puts her down on the bed. He then takes off his shirt, lays down on the bed with her and spends the next 60 seconds seducing her with so much pleasurable passion] Have I proven myself?
- Shannon: [becomes excited with the passion and pleasure Constantine has given her] Oh, with honor, my dear prince. [they kiss each other for about 20 seconds; then they stop their lovemaking, take a rest and resume their conversation]
- Constantine: I suppose there are worse ways to grieve.
- Shannon: You won't catch me shedding a tear. [refers to her late brother Pruwet] I barely knew the little brat. Father kept us on different planets. Mine was located in a more remote region of the universe. Still, whatever was done to him did seem especially cruel. I doubt my family will ever make peace with it.
- Constantine: And the timing was... unfortunate. Should I be making a hasty retreat then? Will the Duke use the fleet to seize the throne, now that he can't marry into it?
- Shannon: The palace is meaningless. The real power is whoever controls the desert planet. The Great Houses, the Spacing Guild, the Sisterhood.
- Constantine: Hmm.
- Shannon: They all know that. What matters is those beautiful, little flecks of orange dust.
- Constantine: Arrakis. That's where he's from.
- Shannon: Who?
- Constantine: [referring to Desmond Hart] Uh, the soldier in custody. My father thinks I don't pay attention, but I saw our sword master take him into the cells.
- Shannon: Is this about my brother?
- Constantine: What does your father plan to do with the fleet?
- Shannon: [takes Constantine into her arms as she gets ready to sleep with him] Haven't you been listening? He doesn't confide in me.
- Constantine: Hmm. Another pinch and I'll be useless.
- Shannon: I wouldn't say useless. [passionately kisses Constantine on the lips; they stop talking and resume their lovemaking in bed]
