Doug Burgum
Douglas James Burgum (/bɜːrɡəm/ BUR-gəm; born August 1, 1956) is an American businessman and politician serving since 2016 as the 33rd governor of North Dakota. He is among the richest politicians in the United States and has an estimated net worth of at least $1.1 billion. He is a member of the Republican Party. President-elect Donald Trump nominated him to serve as United States Secretary of the Interior when his second term begins in 2025.
