David Mabuza
Deputy President of South Africa
David Mabuza (born 25 August 1960) is a South African politician. He served as the 8th Deputy President of South Africa between 27 February 2018 and 28 February 2023. He previously served as Premier of Mpumalanga between 2009 and 2018, during the presidency of Jacob Zuma. He helped get Cyril Ramaphosa elected as President of the African National Congress, but later resigned as Deputy President after unsuccessfully challenging Ramaphosa for the leadership himself.
