Dialogue edit

Sailors: (singing) Over the sea, let's go men! We're shovin' right off, we're shovin' right off again! Nobody knows where or when! We're shovin' right off, we're shovin' right off again! We're leaving today, it's anchors aweigh. Sally and Sue, don't be blue! We'll just be gone for years and years and then... We're shovin' right off for home, shovin' right off for home... Shovin' right off for home again!
[Camera pans right then trucks-in on Conrad, swabbing the deck]
Conrad: (singing) Over the sea, let's go men! (He does a Goofy chuckle) And we are too. [As Conrad swabs the deck, he spots the Daffy’s muddy footprints on the deck. He gets angry and sees Daffy on the mast. Daffy waves to him. Conrad angrily wipes his nose] [angrily, to himself] We're shovin' right off for home, shovin' right off for home...
Daffy: [pacing back and forth on the mast, mockingly] Shovin' right off again! Shovin' right off again! Shovin' right off again! Shovin' right off again! Shovin' right off again! Shovin' right off again! [to the audience] Phew, is that guy awful? Gee, it makes me sick.

[after Daffy deliberately swaps Conrad's water bucket with a paint bucket, causing Conrad to paint the deck]
Daffy: Very sloppy, Roscoe. You're a slovenly housekeeper. [Conrad angrily throws the mop at Daffy, who then catches it, and twirls it in a short vaudeville routine before tossing the mop into the air] Catch! Catch! [Conrad looks up as the mop lands on his head. The camera pans up to Daffy on top of the mop] Very petite, Betsy. Very petite.

[Conrad keeps watch with his telescope in the crow's nest, but accidentally grabs Daffy, mistaking him for his telescope]
Daffy: Swell view, eh, Doc? [Conrad angrily throws him down from the crow's nest]

[Conrad is cleaning one of the naval guns]
Conrad: (singing) La la, lo la lee, Sally and Sue, la la la, [moving Daffy out of the way] la deedle di de doodle de da- [He suddenly realizes that Daffy is back. He turns to look directly at Daffy in his face. He and Daffy each grab Daffy's neck repeatedly. Daffy deliberately bites him on the nose, and twirls Conrad's arms before zooming off. Conrad becomes angry again, and he chases him. Conrad corners him. He is about to strangle him, but the ship's diminutive Admiral scurries by again, as both sailor and duck snap to attention and salute. He is about to strangle him again]
Daffy: (clapping their hands together) Pease Porridge Hot, Pease Porridge Cold, [deliberately pulling his hat over his head] Pease Porridge in the pot nine days old!

[after Conrad chases him into another room, charging straight at the door on Daffy, which leaves a Daffy-shaped dent on the inside of the door]
Daffy: Ha ha! Never even touched me.

[Daffy jumps into a cannon, and Conrad puts a shell into the other end while Daffy hums on the inside]
Daffy: Big bullet.

Daffy: [riding it out of the cannon] What a man! Oh, ho! I'm a dive bomber! [He rides the shell back down to the ship, and into one of the smoke funnels. The shell suddenly comes out of the other smoke funnel, and chases Daffy to the startled Conrad. Conrad looks behind him, nervous. Conrad and Daffy get chased by the shell. All three, including the shell, snap to attention as the Admiral walks by, before the chase continues as the cartoon ends with an iris out]
