Category talk:Festivals

I have moved this category from Category:Productions because, as used in Wikiquote's scheme of Fundamental categories, "Productions" refers to works of authorship such as print literature and films. This is not to slight the producers of other things such as manufactured goods or entertainment events, it is just how the term is used in this context. I have long thought the category might better have been named "Works," but I have been reluctant to change something so 'fundamental' based on a personal preference. ~ Ningauble 21:12, 2 February 2011 (UTC)

It may be useful to create an intermediate category: "Events". That could hold other event-oriented pages, such as September 11 attacks.   Will Beback  talk  23:44, 2 February 2011 (UTC)
