Benny Gantz (Hebrew: בִּנְיָמִין "בֵּנִי" גַּנְץ; born 9 June 1959) is an Israeli politician serving as the 1st Alternate Prime Minister of Israel in 2020–2021 and and Minister of Defense from 17 May 2020 until 29 December 2022.
