Belisarius

6th century Byzantine general instrumental in reconquest of much of the former Roman Mediterranean territories (505-565)

Flavius Belisarius [Βελισάριος] (c. 505565) was one of the greatest generals of the Eastern Roman or Byzantine Empire.

For not by numbers of men, nor by measure of body, but by valor of soul is war to be decided.
