Ariane Uwamahoro
Rwandan sports journalist
Ariane Uwamahoro, born in 1988 at Mumena in the popular Nyamirambo suburb of Nyarugenge District, found herself naturally falling in love with sports. She was born within the environs of Kigali Stadium, then known as Stade Regionale Nyamirambo. She worked on Radio Huguka before joining Radio Rwanda and later Rwanda Television (RBA). Had primary education at Ecole Primaire Cyivugiza and O'Level at Ecole Secondaire Scientifique Islamique. Then pursued biochemistry as a major at Ecole des Sciences, Nyanza. Later, in 2008, studied journalism and communication at Institut Catholique de Kabgayi.
