edit- Sasha: Don’t worry Anne Boonchuy, do you need to risk your life for the frogs so hard that we don't even belong here or do you need to get back home and see your real family now?
- Anne: Yeah, but...
- Sasha: Now put your sword down now, END. OF. DISCUSSION.
- [Anne hesitates, then lowers her sword; Sprig notices]
- Sasha: [smiles] There we go, that's my girl. This is not difficult, okay?
- Sprig: [looks at Anne with concern, then fires mud from his slingshot onto Sasha’s face]
- Sasha: WHAT THE HECK?!
- [Everyone gasps]
- Sprig: For a girl who’s Anne’s best friend, you sure don’t know her very well, she’s brave, she’s smart, and most of all she’s not going be pushed around by a bully like you.
- Sasha: I think i had enough with your cheep squeak toy…
- [swings sword; suddenly, Anne blocks the attack]
- Sasha: Anne Boonchuy, what are you doing?
- Anne: Something that i could've done for a long time ago: STANDING UP TO YOU!
- [She flings Sasha away]
- Anne: Thanks for believing in me, Sprig.
- Sprig: Spranne against the world.
- Sasha: Listen Anne, they're just slimy silly frogs, it doesn’t matter.
- 'Anne: They're not frogs, they’re just my friends now.
- [She whacks Sasha's dagger to the ground; everyone cheers]
- Anne: It's over, Sasha, you’re no longer going to push me around.

edit- Andrias: There was a time when Newtopia was truly great, but that greatness was stolen from us. Centuries of prosperity brought to an end because of me. I was weak, trusting those who said they were my friends and because of that, the music box was taken under my watch. It cost us everything and after a thousand years, no one even remembers our legacy. But now, at long last, the box is back. And with its power, Newtopia will be returned to glory!
- Hop Pop: Oh, well, that's nice.
- Anne: Something's wrong here.
- Andrias: For you see, my ancestors weren't frail explorers, they were glorious conquerors!
- Marcy: Andrias, this wasn't the plan! You said no one would get hurt.
- Andrias: I would have said anything if it meant you delivered the box fully charged. Hate to break it to you, kiddo, but you've been duped.
- Marcy: But... but...
- Anne: Mar-Mar, what's he talking about?
- Sasha: Yeah, what plan?
- Marcy: He promised he'd take us with him to the new worlds, that we could have amazing adventures just like this one, forever and ever.
- Anne: But why?
- Andrias: Why, indeed? Enough lies, Mar-Mar. If you don't tell them the truth, I will.
- Marcy: You... you wouldn't!
- Anne: Marcy, what's going on?
- Andrias: Did it ever occur to you, Anne, Sasha? That one of you knew more than she was letting on? That one of you might have gotten you stranded in Amphibia... on purpose?
- Sasha: You've got to be kidding me!
- Anne: No, it can't be!
- Andrias: Oops! Looks like I spilled the tea, as you kids say. Heh...
- Marcy: I did it for us! The day we left, your birthday, they told me my dad got a new job out of state. They're making me move away, they were gonna tear us apart!
- Anne: Marcy...
- Marcy: I... I found the box. I had no idea it would actually work, but it did. It sent us to a place where we'd never have to grow apart, where the three of us could friends forever together!
- Anne: How could you?! I've been missing my parents, my life!
- Marcy: But look at how much fun we've had. Look at how much you've both grown. Look at Sprig. I gave you this, I gave you everything! I just didn't want to be alone.

edit- Sprig: Anne, is this...?
- Anne: My house. This is really happening. I'm gonna see my parents.
- Sprig: So... It's too early to call them "mom" and "dad", right? Should I call them "Mr. and Mrs. Boonchuy"? Are they tongue-shake people?
- Anne: Okay... you three should probably hide in here for the time being. I wanna ease them into all of this slowly. And when the time is right, I'll signal, "Caw caw!" Do not come out until you hear that.
- [She hides them in a trash bin]
- Anne: Oh, and I'm not gonna tell them I plan to go back and stop Andrias. Or that Andrias betrayed us. Or that Marcy did. Or that Sasha did. And not a word about my weird glowing blue powers. Wow, there's a lot going on.
- Sprig: Blue powers?
- Polly: It was a thing.
- Anne: If you think I'm just gonna sit here while you hurt my friends, you've got another thing coming!

- Anne: Mom! Take it easy!
- Mr. Boonchuy: Honey, maybe we should hear her out.
- Mrs. Boonchuy: NO! She's lying to us! You've done something, haven't you?! That's why that thing is after us!
- Anne: It's complicated!
- Mrs. Boonchuy: I knew it! We were wrong about you. You're still the same irresponsible little girl who used to cut class. When are you going to grow up? When are you going to stop getting in trouble? When, Anne? WHEN!?
- Anne: I DON'T KNOW, OKAY?!
- (Long pause)
- Anne: I don't know when I'll be the daughter you want me to be. And I'm sorry. It's true. I did lie. But I did it to protect the people I really care about.
- Hop Pop: Hey...
- Anne: I've learned so much from you two in these past few weeks. I finally appreciate how much you've done for me. Now I'm asking for your help. (holds her mother's hands) Please. I can't do this without you.

- Anne: Well, I have powers.
- Sasha: [excited] Wait! Do Marcy and I get cool anime powers too?!

edit- [After Sprig reads to King Andrias the letter from his childhood friend Leif Plantar, urging him not to close his heart to others]
- Andrias: [shocked and saddened] All this time, I thought you had forgotten me... like I tried to forget you. My dear friend...! [collapses, sobbing with remorse] But you're too late. The things I've done, the pain I've caused...! THERE'S NO GOING BACK!!!
- [Sasha is on the brink of near-death with Darcy]
- Darcy: Well, Sash, it's been fun!
- Sasha: Do your worst.
- Darcy: Sure!
- [Darcy swings up the scythe to kill Sasha and give the final blow... then notices something.]
- Darcy: Huh? It can't be.
- [Opens a window to see Andrias losing to Anne]
- Darcy: Aldrich, your son is losing the will to fight. That weakling! (glances over to Sasha) Hey Sasha, as a fellow control freak, you'll probably really appreciate this!
- [Fires a wave of red energy which reacts to Andrias' crown]
- Darcy: Andrias! Stand up and fight, you pathetic excuse for a king! We are all you need. We are all you will ever have!
- [Grime kicks Sasha's sword over to her]
- Anne: (in Sasha's thoughts) It's not who we were that matters, Sash. It's who we are now that counts.
- [Sasha stands; Darcy's words get to Andrias and he resumes the fight]
- Darcy: There. That's better.
- [They get swiped at by Sasha]
- Sasha: I am not that person anymore!
- [The scythe is knocked away, but Darcy remains normal...]
- Darcy: Pfft... You missed.
- Sasha: [smirks] Wanna bet?
- [Reveals the cord on the back of Darcy's helmet has been severed]
- Darcy: AAAAAAAGH!!!!! My connection! You FOOL! DO YOU HAVE ANY IDEA WHAT YOU'VE DONE?!? NOOOOO!!! NOOOOOOOO...AAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!
- [The Core shuts down and Darcy falls, the helmet falling off returning Marcy to her old self]
The Hardest Thing [3.18]
edit- Mother Olm: So, how did it go?
- Sprig: Well, we stopped the invasion, but now it looks like the moon is about to kill us all, so, (shrugs) mixed bag?
- Mother Olm: I see. Then the prophecy has finally come to pass.
- Marcy: (gasps) Sasha mentioned this! What did it say? What did it say?
- Anne: It said that the three of us would save the world. So, let's go save the world!
- Sasha & Marcy: Yeah!
- Mother Olm: Well, just a minute, the prophecy doesn't necessarily say you'll succeed.
- Anne, Sasha & Marcy: (confused) Wh-wha?
- Mother Olm: You see, the prophecy isn't so much a prediction as it is a humble request for help. And know this: You have to tap into the energy that remains in the stones in order to get the energy you need. However, if you do that...
- Anne: There might not be enough energy left for us to get home.
- Sasha: We could be stuck in Amphibia forever.
- Mother Olm: Anne, one more thing. The stones are strong, but they may not be enough to defeat the Core. If things look bad out there, don't forget about the secret spell.
- Anne: Wait, the secret what now?
- Mother Olm: Didn't I tell you about that?
- Anne: No!
- Mother Olm: (sighs and shrugs) Well, the stones are rumored to hold a hidden power, enough to defeat any foe. But summoning such power... COMES AT A PRICE. The life of the user.
- Anne: So, whoever uses this spell and calls on the power of all three stones... will die.
- Mother Olm: Mmm.. yeah. But hopefully it will never come to that.
- [Frobo brings Anne, who has been petrified and exhausted due to the results of the secret spell]
- Sprig: Come on, Anne... you'll be okay...
- Anne: [last words] Don't cry, Sprig. It's okay. Saving this world was the best decision I've ever made. My only regret is that... I never... got to see Love Choice 2...
- [Her body whithers into leaves which float toward the cosmos]
- [Anne's consciousness awakens in an astral plane, in a newly reconstructed body; she enters a cottage and sees an old computer with a chat window from someone called "3_STONES_DEITY" with the message: "Hello, Anne 0.o"]
- Anne: Uh, hello. (starts typing) "Hi. Who are you? What's going on?"
- [Another message comes onscreen]
- Anne: I am the cosmic guardian who has watched over countless worlds for countless eons? Whoa. Okay... (types another message) "What's with the timey old computer?"
- [Message reads "Old? Are you human teens using something else these days?"]
- Anne: Tch, you're off by a couple decades.
- [Message reads "Well, perhaps we should try a different form..."]
- [The computer, revealed to be the Celestial Guardian, changes their shape and takes on the form of Domino]
- The Guardian: How's this? Better?
- Anne: So much better! (hugs them) Come here, you!
- The Guardian: Hey, hey, none of that.
- Anne: Sorry, sorry.
- The Guardian: I figured your response would be something like this. I am very cute.
- Anne: So, what's going on? Am I dead or something...?
- The Guardian: Yes and no; I made a copy of you right before you expired. A backup, if you will. For all intents and purposes, you're the same Anne Boonchuy.
- Anne: [dumbstruck] Well, that's gonna cause some serious existential dread later on. So, does that make you...
- The Guardian: (yawns and stretches) ...Just a watcher, a viewer. I'm not in the demographic, though.
- Anne: And you look like my cat because...
- The Guardian: My true form will make your human brain explode.
- Anne: I don't know. I've seen some pretty crazy --
- [The guardian briefly shows their true form as a blinding and blasting vortex, freaking Anne out.]
- The Guardian: Now, to business. Anne Boonchuy, I have brought you to this place because I want to offer you... a job.
- Anne: Wha--?
- The Guardian: To keep a near infinite story short, I have been doing this job for a very long time. It's exhausting. So, I was hoping you would consider being my replacement.
- Anne: Me?
- The Guardian: Yes, you. Look, I created the stones to see how mortals would handle unlimited power. Turns out... not that well! Would you believe that after over 10,000 years, you're the only individual who used that power for good?
- Anne: Uh... This is a lot to take in right now. I mean, do I have a choice?
- The Guardian: Well, of course you do! I'm not a jerk.
- Anne: Well then... I'm gonna have to pass.
- The Guardian: Wha?! No! I haven't even told you about Bagel Fridays!
- Anne: Sorry, dude. You seem cool, but I'm just a 13-year-old kid. For every "heroic sacrifice", I make a hundred dumb mistakes. (picks her ear) I'd probably blow up the multiverse if you put me in charge.
- The Guardian: (pounding the table in frustration) No!! Don't do this to me, kid. You're the only one who qualifies! You're perfect!
- Anne: No one's perfect. My time in Amphibia taught me that we're all changing, and learning and improving as we go. Every time I hit an obstacle, I found a way to overcome it. When I thought Sasha and Marcy would be stuck in their old ways, they proved me wrong and our friendship got stronger. And Wartwood, the oldest-fashioned, least accepting place, ended up accepting me as one of their own.
- The Guardian: So you're saying you could continue improving? Maybe even one day feel worthy of this post?
- Anne: It's possible. I have my whole life ahead of me to make bad choices and learn good lessons from them. Or... I had my whole life ahead of me.
- The Guardian: About that...
- [The house vanishes and Anne is floating over a white portal back to the land of the living]
- Anne: Whoa! Wha... What's happening?! Am I actually dying this time?!
- The Guardian: I'm sending you back to the world of the living. You've shown me the error in my thinking. And if you can do that at age 13, then imagine the Guardian you'll be after a life fully lived.
- [Sends Anne through the portal]
- The Guardian: Go! Live your life! I've waited thousands of years to retire. What's 78 years more?
- Anne: Wait, are you saying that in 78 years, I'm gonna -- ? [gets sent back to Amphibia]
- Anne Boonchuy: Change can be difficult, but it's how we grow. It can be the hardest thing to realize you can't hold on to something forever. Sometimes... you have to let it go. But of the things you let go... you'd be surprised... what makes its way... back to you.
