Alien: Isolation

2014 first-person survival horror stealth game

Alien: Isolation is a horror-survival video game developed by the Creative Assembly and based on the Alien science fiction horror film series. It was published by Sega and originally released for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One on 7 October 2014. The game is set 15 years after the events of Ridley Scott's 1979 Alien film and follows Amanda Ripley, daughter of Alien protagonist Ellen Ripley, and her efforts to investigate the disappearance of her mother.

Amanda Ripley edit

  • It's a life form, an unknown type, some kind of alien organism. It's extremely dangerous.

Christopher Samuels edit

  • [to Ripley] I know why you're working in the region where she went missing. You're still looking, aren't you?

Nina Taylor edit

  • I don't do long-haul very often. Most legal execs don't travel further than the coffee machine.
  • If I can close the case with a conclusive accident report, it'll look great with my superiors.

Axel edit

  • There's something on this station. Something you wouldn't believe.
  • This is your lucky day.

Other edit

  • Ellen Ripley: Added report, personal message. This is... for my daugter. Hi, Amanda. I'm recording this for you, my sweetheart... and I hope you get to hear it one day. You see, I, um... I got into trouble. Um, my ship... Um, there was an accident, sweetheart, and, um... We found an alien creature. It was very dangerous, and the only way we could stop it was to destroy the ship. Uh, I'm okay. I'm stuck on this lifeboat, a long way out... But we had to destroy the ship. We had to destroy the Nostromo. We just couldn't risk bringing that thing home with us. I needed to protect you. Don't worry... Don't worry about me. I'm sure I'll see you very soon. I love you, sweetheart.

Dialogue edit

Amanda Ripley: What the hell is going on here, Marshal? Where's the security forces?
Marshal Waits: You're looking at them.
