Alfonso López Trujillo (8 November 1935 – 19 April 2008) was a Colombian prelate of the Catholic Church who served as an auxillary bishop of the Archdiocese of Bogotá and as the archbishop of the Archdiocese of Medellín.

  • The danger denounced by the Latin American bishops is that of the prevailing of an ideology that is not Latin American but which can have a certain contingent success, as sometimes happens with the democratic majorities that are here today and gone tomorrow.
