Dialogue
edit- Tigger: Hiya Rabbit! Wanna here the good news? Snow does not keep Tiggers from bouncing. Not one bitty bit.
- Rabbit: Get off me Tigger!
- [Eeyore comes out from under the snow tossing Tigger over and he and Rabbit come face to face]
- Rabbit: Eeyore.
- Eeyore: Thanks for noticing.
- Rabbit: What are you doing under there besides being sad and gloomy?
- Eeyore: Not much. As usual.
- Rabbit: Piglet what are you doing under there?
- Piglet: We both got very scared and I wasn't sure what to do. So I thought this might be a good place for not being sure.
- Rabbit: Must you be afraid of everything Piglet?
- Piglet: Well I suppose that depends on how frightening it is.
- Rabbit: That's it. That does it! Out! Out! Everybody Out! Out! I've had it! My carrot will never make it through the new year with all of you around! And neither will I! We are both leaving!
- Pooh, Eeyore, Tigger, Piglet: Leaving?
- Piglet: You mean going away?
- Pooh: Where ever will you go?
- Rabbit: Oh... Someplace where there are no honey munching Pooh Bears, no petrified Piglets, no gloomy donkeys, and no always bouncing Tiggers.
- Tigger: The brain boggles. What kind of place would that be?
- Rabbit: Paradise.
- Tigger: Tiggers always stick to their rusty-tutions!
- Pooh: Stick? As in sticky? As in... honey?
- Narrator: And so Pooh's friends, trying to please Rabbit, found themselves in a bit of a jam.
- Pooh: Jam? As in honey?
- Narrator: If Pooh can't eat honey, Piglet can't be afraid, Tigger can't bounce, and Eeyore can't be gloomy, then the question is...
- Pooh: What do we do now?
- Christopher Robin: Happy New Year! Is everybody ready for the party?
- Tigger: We're ready, alright... for the world's worst New Year's party.
- Christopher Robin: [confused] Whatever do you mean?
- Pooh: It will be a new year... but without our old friend.
- Piglet: Our d-dear friend.
- Eeyore: Our former friend.
- Tigger: [starting to cry] That paragon of bunny-dom... [sniffs] Rabbit!
- Christopher Robin: Rabbit's... leaving?!
- Tigger: I know...!
- Rabbit: Uh, leaving? Me? Now, why would I want to leave friends who are so loyal they would change just to please me?
- Pooh: But we didn't change. We tried, Rabbit, but... we just stayed our same old selves.
- Rabbit: And thank goodness for that. Why... [giggles] What kind of a Pooh Bear would you be if you, uh, didn't like honey?
- Pooh: [his tummy rumbles] A very hungry one.
- Rabbit: And a Tigger who doesn't bounce really isn't a Tigger at all!
- Tigger: [still crying] You're not just saying that to mend our broken hearts, are ya?! [blows nose in scarf] Well, are ya?!!
- Rabbit: Oh, and, Eeyore...
- Eeyore: [taking off his Pooh shirt] This Pooh shirt was too itchy, even for me.
- Rabbit: [giggles] And little Piglet...
- Piglet: Oh, Rabbit, I was afraid I'd never get to be scared again.
- Rabbit: There, there. You can hide under my bed whenever you want.
- Tigger: [sniffs] That Rabbit, he just gives and gives...
- Rabbit: Please don't change. I like all of you just the way you are. I'm the one who needs to change.
- Pooh: But, Rabbit, if you weren't you, then we'd all be a bit less, um... we.
- Christopher Robin: Exactly, Pooh. That's what friends do for each other. They help you to be more of... who you are. Now, come on, everyone. It's time to celebrate the new year.
- Rabbit: Oh, at my house, of course.
- Rabbit: I, uh, believe these are yours, Tigger. [Hands Tigger the bells] I'm very sorry if I...
- Tigger: Oh, that's okay, Ra-ra. Let's just let bygones be gone! The important thing is that we're pals forever! Am I right?
- Rabbit: Abs-o-tutely, old friend.
- Eeyore: [walks by with Piglet on his back] You see? Nothing brings friends together like bells.
- Tigger: How true, how true. And I think that calls for...
- Rabbit: One more round of, uh, "Jingly Bells"?
- Tigger: Oh, look at you! A-heh-heh-heh!
