Hi, welcome to English Wikiquote.

Enjoy! ~ Ningauble 12:35, 12 May 2011 (UTC)Reply

Thank you for your effort to contribute to our project, but Wikiquote exists for the collecting of notable quotations of famous people and famous works, not for the posting of quotations of people not yet famous in some field. Within bounds of Wikimedia policy, registered users can put quotes of themselves or people they know on their user pages. For a quick overview of what Wikiquote is, read Wikiquote:Wikiquote, and also What Wikiquote is not for a list of common activities that Wikiquote does not support. ~ Ningauble 12:35, 12 May 2011 (UTC)Reply

English proverbs edit

Please stop adding remarks to the English proverbs that are not famous English proverbs. If you would like to help with this article, what it needs most is to have reliable sources added for the proverbs that are already listed. New additions without citations are subject to removal. Thank you. ~ Ningauble 13:54, 28 May 2011 (UTC)Reply

Your contributions to the English proverbs page are being discussed at the Wikiquote Village Pump. It has been proposed to remove your additions from the article. Please feel free to join the discussion. ~ Ningauble 20:32, 1 June 2011 (UTC)Reply
