Edgar Allan Poe edit

Why was my edit on Edgar Allan Poe reverted? Please note my concerns, which I've already addressed on the article's discussion page. --71.225.104.186 18:51, 30 April 2008 (UTC)Reply
I reverted your change to the caption for the main picture of Poe because it is standard practice here to choose a representative quote as a caption rather than just the name of the person. And I don't see a problem with the quote that was selected for this purpose. As for your other arguments (on discussion page), you may have a point about some of the selections that were used as captions. But my reversion did not address this concern. I'll wait for some comment from others (particularly the user that chose those quotes). ~ UDScott 19:25, 30 April 2008 (UTC)Reply
I will respond to this on the Poe talk page. --71.225.104.186 21:15, 30 April 2008 (UTC)Reply
