Scope of the project edit
Your contributions are of course always welcome, but Wikiquote is a place for quotes and not transcripts. Assuming they are public domain, and free of copyright restrictions, those should go at Wikisource. GMGtalk 11:35, 27 August 2023 (UTC)
- My edits are so "welcome" that you delete the entirety of my contributions to that article under the claim that it was all "transcripts" despite the fact that I only used a few quotes from her book? I have to give you WikiWhores credit. You've mastered the art of claiming one thing and doing the other. User:Informant16 11:52, 27 August 2023 (UTC)
- Yeah, that's not just discouraged according to the project scope, but it's often illegal. Posting pages of text from a private publisher like Politico is a copyright violation. That can get the Wikimedia Foundation dragged into court. This can, and has seen entire projects deleted. GMGtalk 12:06, 27 August 2023 (UTC)
- I didn't post an entire page of text from a private publisher, as evidenced by the very few quotes I used from her book. You literally deleted everything which also includes quotes about her that were not entire "transcripts" as you claimed so this isn't about some supposed concern of legality. You just wanted to be a controlling, antagonistic slut and that's fine, but I will not be mistreated or have my time wasted on a site that doesn't appreciate me such as this. User:Informant16 12:34, 27 August 2023 (UTC)
- I'm sorry you're offended, but you can't post something that is 20,000 characters from a source. GMGtalk 13:27, 27 August 2023 (UTC)
- Most of my additions were not 20,000 characters, GreenMeansHoe, which shows that length doesn't actually matter. And who wouldn't be offended when you delete every single thing they added to a page and then have the audacity to say that their contributions "are of course always welcome" in the SAME HOUR? At least admit you're bipolar. User:Informant16 13:46, 28 August 2023 (UTC)
