Talk:Idylls of the King

More to come? It appears as if you have nearly all of it already! Nanobug 00:56, 30 Aug 2003 (UTC)

Finished. I had to pause at times because of other duties elsewhere, but an extensive selection of passages from the Idylls is now done, and I appended a note at the top, regarding sources. —Kalki 2003·08·30 17:49 UTC (PS I use this time stamp because it is my normal time stamp, and I like promoting the format "Y/M/D//H/M/S" which has certain advantages in the cataloging and sorting of files that include dates and times in their names, among other things.)

Good job. One minor thing: the page is now over 70K long and I cannot edit it anymore. Could you please split it up into 3 or more sections? Thanks. Nanobug 20:50, 30 Aug 2003 (UTC)

Please explain how to do so. I have to be elsewhere soon, but I will get around to it tomorrow. —Kalki 2003·08·30 21:22 UTC

I was confused by your request, and did not know what you meant. I had broken it into 15 sections as I created the file, and I think this will suffice. If not tell me what is required. Kalki 2003·09·01 22:19 UTC

Sorry for the confusion. I should have said pages rather than sections. Now that we have section editing, this is not really a problem anymore, so I don't know if it is worth changing it. It only is a problem if someone clicks on Edit this page and are running certain browsers on certain operating systems. See Wikipedia:Browser page size limits for more details. And the problem only occurred on my secondary computer, not my primary one, so it's not really a problem for me. Nanobug 17:23, 2 Sep 2003 (UTC)
