Dialogue edit

Capt. Church: Todd was our best man.
Col. Mekum: You still don't get it, do you, Captain? [shoots the last surviving soldier of the test] Your men... are obsolete.

Slade: I don't see how you cannot remember how you got here Sergeant. You're not a deserter, are you Sergeant?
Sgt. Todd: No, sir.
Slade: Then how come you're not with your unit?
Townsman: Oh come on Slade, will you let the man eat?
Slade: It's not an unreasonable question. How 'bout it Sergeant?
Sgt. Todd: I was replaced.
Mace: Replaced...
Sgt. Todd: By a better soldier, sir.

Col. Mekum: A growl? He heard a growl?
Lt. Rubrick: Well, he didn't say the word "growl", he said, "a throat noise", but I asked him to imitate it, and it sounded like... a growl to me.

Sandra: How do you know they'll be back?
Sgt. Todd: Because they're soldiers, sir, like me.
Sandra: Why are they doing this?
Sgt. Todd: They're obeying orders, sir. It's their duty.
Sandra: Do you know how many they'll be?
Sgt. Todd: Seventeen more, sir.
Sandra: You can't fight 17 on your own. You have to organize us. We're not cowards. We'll do as you tell us. We'll fight.
Sgt. Todd: No.
Sandra: Why not?
Sgt. Todd: Soldiers deserves soldiers, sir.
Sandra: But one soldier... ...against 17? What are you gonna do?
Sgt. Todd: I'm going to kill them all, sir.

Lt. Rubrick: Are any of you men out there? Can any of you men hear me?
Sgt. Todd: Your men... are obsolete.
