DescriptionEdward Onslow Ford - The Singer aka Egyptian Singer, 1889, head and shoulders - on temporary display at Tate Britain, September 2010.png
English: Modern photo of "The Singer" by Edward Onslow Ford, showing restoration of polychrome finish. The statue is 50% lifesize and cast using the lost-wax method. Owing to the difficulties of shooting handheld in artificial light various tweaks and colour/contrast corrections have been performed, and the overall image has been lightened to emphasise detail in the figure. A version of this photo has appeared on Flickr under my username Ketrin1407.
