Ben Carson edit
Please take a look at the edits I did to the Ben Carson page and apply similar formatting to Gifted Hands: The Ben Carson Story. Also, it would be good to just have the quotes from this book on its page (and remove them from the author's page). Then you can put a see also pointer to the book's page on the Ben Carson page. Thanks. ~ UDScott (talk) 16:54, 18 February 2013 (UTC)
- Again, it is not necessary to repeat quotes on multiple pages for an author and his works (as you've again done with the creation of THINK BIG). Please work on the formatting of these pages and try to consolidate the quotes. Thanks. ~ UDScott (talk) 17:03, 18 February 2013 (UTC)
Answer edit
Thank you a lot for your advice. I thought it would be better to add other Ben Carson's books pages. I've taken inspiration from Jane Austen's books Pages. It's a work I need to do for the university and my theacher need to see that it's alla done from me.
- I think it's fine to have separate pages for the books - but then the quotes should be removed from the author's page, and maybe add some links to the book pages. ~ UDScott (talk) 17:14, 18 February 2013 (UTC)
- Ok. I will try to. Again thanks a lot.
- Scuse me, since is a school work, my teacher needs to see that all modifications are mine. Can I do it?
- Not really: a wiki is a collaborative authoring environment and, as described at Wikipedia: Ownership of articles, your contributions can be re-edited by anyone.
Also, if your classmates will also be doing similar school work then please ask your teacher to review the guidelines at Wikipedia: School and university projects. Thank you. ~ Ningauble (talk) 18:14, 18 February 2013 (UTC)

- I know that wiki is a collaborative platform and really is the most important detail in the site. Sorry my question didn't express clearly my really doubt. I just want to know if my professor can distinguish my contribution from others of other people.
- Hello Caterina. Yes, your professor will be able to distinguish your contributions from others. Check "View history" (top right): it shows who made each edit and at what time, so it's easy to see which edits/contributions were made by you, with your account. Done edit
Ok, in -view History- he can distinguish my contribute from yours. I was worried that the professor couldn't see that the work was previously done from me. Sorry, but is my first (but I hope not last) page and I am still descovering the site.
Thanks again.
