Speedy deletions edit
An editor using this IP address recently added the {{delete}} speedy-deletion tag to Angel, a long-established, sourced article on a notable television show. The reason given was "fan adoration is not encyclopedic". While this statement is true, the editor failed to explain why s/he considered a quote article following Wikiquote guidelines to be mere "fan adoration", nor what criteria of Wikiquote:Speedy deletions justify the article's deletion without community review. If one wishes to have an article considered for deletion that does not meet any speedy-deletion criteria, it should be nominated for deletion at Wikiquote:Votes for deletion, following the instructions at the top of the page.
