editHopefully I find them written somewhere (paraphrasis follows):
- Identity is defined at the end of your life, not by the beginning. Not by the people you were born in but by your current network etc. (which you can change). [Identity as endless task]
- Proust's Recherche acquires a sense at the very end: all that happened made sense because it was a preparation for him to become a writer.
- Commitment is seen as a liability because it restricts future possibilities. People feel it's better to not make strong decisions and keep possibilities open for the future, just like the big bang was a small point with infinite possibilities while there is nothing before.
- Václav Havel had three weapons that everybody has but few use: hope, courage and stubborness.
