Formatting edit

Based on the source text of this article, which appears to have expected each line of dialog to be on a separate physical line, I have changed the formatting to include an indentation (:). The earlier structure doesn't work on wiki pages, as single-line separation merely concatenates text into a single line. There are several ways to get around this, including adding absurd amounts of blank lines, but the cleanest and most common practice for dialog is simply to indent each line. (One notable variation used for Terra's plaque and for Master of Your Fate is to double-indent each physical line, which gives the text the feel of a tombstone, sign, or lyrics.) Someday, I hope that the MediaWiki developers will create markup that makes dialog easier to format, but until then, this is probably the most practical means to achieve decent formatting. — Jeff Q (talk) 18:03, 12 May 2005 (UTC)Reply

Oh, another thing — I reformatted the season and episode titles to use common Wikiquote conventions:

  • Italicize titles, not descriptive data (e.g., "Episode 1: Final Exam").
  • Use wiki markup (== HEADING ==) to format sections and provide a table of contents, especially for very long pages.

Copyediting edit

Can the folks who are most interested in this article keep an eye on the incoming edits for various errors? Quite a bit of the material appears to be copied and pasted from sources like TV Tome, and these can be somewhat less than accurate in grammar, punctuation, and spelling, to put it mildly. I've just gone through the entire article and combed out what errors I could determine without actually watching the episodes, but that's only a one-time contribution. There are a number of quotes that seem likely to be inaccurate, but require episode review to be sure. Not being a fan of the show, I leave it to interested parties to do any further copyediting. Please consider that accuracy is a major goal of Wikiquote, and that no other quote sites can boast any such attention to detail. (I've found that even IMDb's Quote pages rarely have a single quote that is completely accurate. Most quotes that aren't simply copied from another webpage appear to be added from memory, which is incredibly fallible.) — Jeff Q (talk) 18:05, 12 May 2005 (UTC)Reply

This is just 3 years late in commenting, but as I watch the show I tend to add notable quotes. I have the DVDs and watch them on the computer, so it's fairly easy to pause and get a verbatim transcript that way. If I watch an episode, I'll quickly glance at this page afterwards to see if any quotes need repairing.- ellusion - 10:39, 24 November 2009 (UTC)Reply

Episode 257-494 edit

This show was originally listed as Episode 12 of Season 3, probably because it was aired during the third season. However, it appears to be officially designated as Episode 1 of Season 4. There are other clues to this official nature: jokes and references inside the show, the fact that it aired in-between the two parts of Titans East (clearly an out-of-order broadcast), and the way its inclusion in Season 4 provides all four major seasons with 13 episodes. (Also, if airdate were the sole consideration, one might argue that The Lost Episode should be 3-12, 257-494 be 3-14, and TE 1 and 2 be 3-13 and 3-15, respectively.) I've moved Episode 257-494 to correspond to the official listing. — Jeff Q (talk) 18:09, 12 May 2005 (UTC)Reply

Cleanup edit

We have the put it in order of who talked first. For example, Star Fire did not say "Tell me again what they are called." after she says, "I did not know we were supposed to bring shovels." (which was in episode Sisters, Sisters, but I cleaned it up, already) --anon

On another Note, Several of the quotes listed here are pointlessly long. Cut to the chaste, the part of the quote that sticks out. For example "Tick Tock Raven, Time is running out" instead of the entire dialouge between Slade and Raven during the time. --Evil Bob

Reference edit

Forgive the plug, but for a strong reference source, TitansGo.net is good - it has a transcript for every episode, and though I haven't gone through and compared each and every episode to the corresponding transcripts, as far as I can tell, they're perfect, dialogue and quotes included.

Again? edit

Uh... what happened to the new format? I liked it. A lot less clunky. Caswin 04:02, 10 December 2006 (UTC)Reply

Teen Titans Season 5 edit

Why is there a page for Teen Titans Season 5? Is it completely unrelated? Because if it's part of the series, shouldn't it be merged with this page? Raisin56 05:14, 10 April 2010 (UTC)Reply

Probably. Of course, the really hard-core fans of the show don't like season 5 nearly as much. After all, no Slade. 69.73.110.152 16:20, 3 November 2011 (UTC)Reply
EDIT Actually, it appears that there are separate pages for all 5 seasons, and that this page is a compilation of all 5. 69.73.110.152 17:47, 3 November 2011 (UTC)Reply

Season 1 episodes 1 & 3 edit

I think that S1E1, "Final Exam," should, chronologically, come after S1E3, "Divide and Conquer." My reasoning is that it is in Final Exam that any of the Titans first learn who Slade is, and in Divide and Conquer, the viewer can see Slade's hand in the events, but Robin, when considering the idea of a master planner, does not even consider the possibility of involvement by Slade. (Robin): "Breaking into jail? Using Plasmus to distract us? The whole plan seems to be a little too smart for Cinderblock.... Someone must have been pulling the strings. But who?" Also, Divide and Conquer is the only episode in which we see signs of the following:

1) Raven has the ability to melt things

2) Slade has normal human processes like eating and drinking

3) Slade has a butler.

In addition, Divide and conquer shows a very strong center around the primary antagonist of the series (Slade). This, along with showing things that are not shown at any other point in a series, are very common among first episodes, and very rare among most others.

Anyway, I'm thinking that if we're moving Episode 257-494 to the beginning of season 4 despite its release date, I think we should move Divide and Conquer to Episode 1. 69.73.110.152 18:20, 3 November 2011 (UTC)Reply

Why on earth is there a Season 6? edit

There hasn't been one yet, but for some reason, there are quotes already about it. TechFlash1 (talk) 19:15, 6 May 2012 (UTC)Reply
