Discussion if Serbian only edit

Just wanted to say that most (if not all) proverbs listed here as Serbian are really proverbs used by all the nations of former Yugoslavia (Slovenians, Croats, Serbs, Bosnians, Macedonians and Montenegrans), and their origin would be hard to trace to only one of this nations. -- —This unsigned comment is by 195.29.221.170 (talkcontribs) 12:45, 29 December 2004.

You are free to add them in those languages, arent'you? This database is also here for linguistic purposes.—This unsigned comment is by 89.224.26.111 (talkcontribs) 02:20, 13 August 2007.

Transwiki merge in from w:en:Serbian proverbs 23 April 2023 edit

On 23 April 2023 in response to a request from @Red-tailed hawk: following w:en:Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Serbian proverbs w:en:Serbian proverbs was transwiki'ed/vross-wiki merged here. As this is a merge I've detailed some information here: -- DeirgeDel tac 21:05, 23 April 2023 (UTC)Reply

  • This history of this article will switch between changes on the enWP article and the enWQ article. Typically only diffs between enWP revisions and enWQ revisions will be meaningful.
  • While the content from enWP has been merged into the history the effect is that it has been merged but not used as the enWQ version has been restored.
  • The enWP article format was not compatible with the format used on this enWQ article as the former did not start from the pre-translated Cyrillic equivalent.
  • The content of the format enWP article can be viewed here and here
  • An edition of the source used for enWP is cited below:
